Great interview with Gene by Billy Corgan. I mean he really pushes Gene to get past all the "standard" stock storylines that he's peddled for all these years. And at times you can tell Gene's a bit perplexed as to why his usual drivel/banter isn't enough. I mean it's just who Gene is but Billy manages to get some nuggets out of him that's very different than most any other interview I've ever seen with him.

I think the most odd thing is, as arrogant as Gene is and his ego is massive, he can never really just sit back and say on just a musical level - yeah we kicked some ass at times. Weird.

Maybe Gene has never kicked ass. His bass solos would be fodder for torment if he was a rig-talker. bUt hE sPiTz bLuD

Worst KISS album by far, and that’s saying a lot with stiff competition like the Elder, Crazy Nights and Hot in the Shade.
Wait a minute, perhaps it’s on par with Gene’s solo 78 album but absolute worst KISS related output is Peter Criss solo 78. It’s funny how Peter thought he could channel Bob Seeger vibes and make it passable.

Kind of. One of the gangs looked like EVH get up (stripes/overalls) and one of the gangs was painted up like Kiss. Great movie. Wouldn’t fly today but when only 4 channels were your option, it’s what you watch. And Dr. Who.

I do. I love the warm colors of analog film. Digital sucks. I really hate the new tvs where classic movies look like soap operas. Yuck.

If I considered the solo albums "KISS" records, Gene and Peters would be the absolute worst KISS records.
