    A few of my favourites!

Bogner Uber Ultra Tone Check // Discussion

Ya, I am in that group for sure. My friends that have tried my Uber Ultra that are bona fide metal guys absolutely love it. I tend to gravitate to ch1 in Uber mode and don't go above noon with the gain.

Bogner Uber Ultra Tone Check // Discussion

Ya, the Ecstasy is the one for sure. A "simpler" Bogner that can also get wide range of tones, especially some amazing crunch/rock tones is the Helios.

Bogner Uber Ultra Tone Check // Discussion

My opinion after playing it a bit now: good clean channel for a beast of an amp. Crunch tones to me, are passable, but not really inspiring in either tone or feel department. I mean, it can do broken up to rock crunch tones, but that is definitely not what the amp excels at.

    Any PRS players here? Opinions?

Oh I love them as well man. Like I said, they were the PRS pickup that kinda made me give PRS pickups as chance again. My first PRS was also a McCarty I bought back in 2003....and I HATED those pickups! Lol! Fell in love with the guitar though. I tell ya, people can spew all the...

    Any PRS players here? Opinions?

Do you mean the 58/15's? I have a set in my 2015 McCarty. Up until then, I would pretty well buy a PRS with the intent on putting in aftermarket pickups, but those charged that. I remember plugging in to the Uber Rev Blue and Ecstasy and being floored at how they reacted and felt. Percussive...

    It's time - tube amp/s

I think you made the right choice. They can be found at decent prices and are incredibly versatile amps. I owned a 96 101b from 2019 to recently. Only moved it to fund a Wizard, but it still sits in my top 5 favorite amps I have owned. Like glpg80 has said, dial it with your ears....it can get...

    Dustie Waring PRS opinions

I am patiently waiting for a hardtail Core Custom 24. The couple I have played, seem to have more thump and attack than the trem models I have owned/played. I don't really dig Floyd's on PRS's. The Custom 24 Floyd I owned did not last long. But the stoptail Waring Model I played was awesome!

Bogner Uber Ultra - A complex, complicated Monster

I finally got a chance to give mine a go this weekend. Pros: absolutely the ultimate Uber IMO. Rev Green, Blue and modern, super tight and aggressive offerings are all in there. Can get comically rediculous the amount of tight gain you can dial in when you set it up right. Cons: While most...

Gonna pick up a Hell Razor….which tubes to get?

Congrats dude! Looking forward to your review on it and of course, I hope you love it! I am sure you will....can't go wrong with Wizards!

Wizard MC II + BOSS SD-1

I bought a Leopard boost to use with my W800 and MC1 and yeah, it absolutely KILLS! I am not a huge boost guy, but the Leopard is top tier and I liked it better than the Maxon tubescreamer and Boss SD-1 I own.

Back in the Mark IV owners club

Good update! I am grabbing a MKIV B tomorrow (glad to be re-united!). Might have to track down an RFT!

Which Rectifier is right for me? If any?

Another Multi-watt vote; 3 channels, all very usable and they will do the big recto thing while also being tighter and a bit brighter than a Rev G. Only way I am paying current prices on a Rev G is if it is C modded like Racer suggested. Uber vs Recto. Both fall in to the amp category that...

    NGD PRS McCarty

Congrats! The PRS McCarty is what got me in to PRS's back the early 00's. I have a few nice PRS's now (I see you do as well!) But I think my top two are McCarty's: a 2015 Artist package and a 2022 Robben Ford, which is modified McCarty.

    NGD PRS Mark Holcomb

I should say, the 6 strings are. There is a 7 string model that is 26.5. Cool guitars. I actually like the cheaper SE version better than the Core model I had!

Boogie Mark IV and Mark 3 ...

This is exactly how I ran my mkiv when I had one: 2 channel amp, optimized for the clean and lead channel. The hallmark of any Mark amp is really that lead channel....everything else is icing on the cake, so if someone really loved say, a Mark 2B or a Mark 3 Bluestripe, I would not let lack of...
