This is line the end of the movie “8 mile”
I think we need the same drum track chosen by someone not in the contest and then maybe a few days to get something together if we are going to be serious
Probably the best thread on RT this year. We needed something to liven up the place
I mean, just being honest, it’s not really worth my time. There’s a lot of my playing out there from various projects. And I don’t go around starting shit, I just fire back if people are complete turds.I think we need the same drum track chosen by someone not in the contest and then maybe a few days to get something together if we are going to be serious
Well, I’m at work today. That’s how I afford my amps instead of sitting around heckling people all day.
Posts noisy videos you can barely hear guitar in over the dookie vocals and other noise
Okay.

I literally lose interest in everything. The one i just started i like a lot moreI remember when you sent me this, why didn't you ever finish it man?
You've been challenged & given a day to respond or surrender. You have evaded the battlefield. It's time. Sometimes out in the Wild Rig West theres only 1 way to settle when someone (you) start trying to step up to one of the Rifflords and call me out about playing. This is a direct challenge. And one not taken lightly. Make my day, punk.

Edit: RiffWARz Rules = no processing, no pre written, throw a drum track down (or not) and throw some riffs on it real crude like. When a challenge it's made, it's between those individuals. Spectators can join in the spectacle but should not post their clips. They should issue a challenge of their own to whoever they want. Clips must be raw and under 2 minutes but minimum 30 seconds is acceptable.**
I was on it as soon as you chirped...
Signed the contract... you were there.
I'll start this battle...
Surrender or fight.

but until then i'll don my black Jim Ross hat and call the action
can you post just the drum track by any chance? would be awesome if everyone uses the same drum track!
I can probably do that out the kindness of my heart.
STONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD! BUSINESS HAS PICKED UP FOLKS! Aneurysm over.
I can fix thoseSTONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD! BUSINESS HAS PICKED UP FOLKS! Aneurysm over.
Jesus Christ you’re a special breed of stupid. I stole the partsI'll wait. You have til tonight to post a legible clip of you and drums, or just you. Proving you can play on the spot. I literally made that shit up over a drum track in 10 minutes worth of total effort. You should probably do the same.
It's riff wars. Not band wars. You wanted to talk about playing. So, let's see you put your riffs where your mouth is in real time like a real man.

For all I know you stole the tracks from somebody. I want to see you back that jibber jabber up with no support or Garbled nonsense hiding your guitar parts....
I made the "drums" to that first with a little drum app in sound cloud where i hit r for hihat, c for snare or some shit like that. Then just started playing. It is ok, but very simple. Almost sounds like a bagpipe too, but i recorded the guitar on the fortin cali neural thingI will say my best stuff was written first then drums added later. But for the last very long while, I've done it the opposite way because it is faster and more convenient to have a tempo in mind, you throw out a couple of beats and form a groove. Then write over the groove. And I notice my songs are definitely a bit different. The ones written before drums are always more technical. The ones written after drums, around the already established beat pattern are always more groove orientated and simpler to play as a whole.
