i actually like the 6505+ the most which is my least favorite amp lol. they are all pretty similar though

I liked the Peaveys and the Wizard for the first section, but I still prefer the Rectos for the chords in the last section, and I liked the Marshall there too.

The Rectos were set per @easstudios have to say the settings were pretty good as I don't generally use Rectos unboosted.

For the other amps I dialed them in using the first riff aiming to be in the ballpark of the Rectos.

Cool that you did that.

I wish the format of the newer clips were the same as the first in the OP. It is a lot easier to jump back and forth. Not sure what changed there and not a big deal either. The Armored Sabot, whatever that is, was least favorite followed by the Bad Cat. Funny how the Wizard was not miles better. I know that is more an in room thing. Otherwise, everything sounded the same, minus those subtle differences. Swapping the same tubes into all of those would have been a PITA.

One way to find out!

OP: what kind of preamp and power amp tubes are in each amp? Are they in stock 6L6/EL34 mode in terms of the fixed bias?
Do you really expect him to list the tubes used in more than a dozen amps to validate your amazing ears or imagination? I’m sure he’ll get right on that. 👍

Great job op, they all sound really good to great.
My favorites are the ‘95 G, Wizard, and Omega.

No, lol.

Didn’t expect you to react either.

Now it’s getting built up. Perhaps it’s valuable to explore the tube compliments used in the experiment for peer review.
