One way to find out!

OP: what kind of preamp and power amp tubes are in each amp? Are they in stock 6L6/EL34 mode in terms of the fixed bias?
Of the Mesa heads, all are Mesa branded tubes except for the 99, which is one of my favorite amps of all I have.

Cool that you did that.

I wish the format of the newer clips were the same as the first in the OP. It is a lot easier to jump back and forth. Not sure what changed there and not a big deal either. The Armored Sabot, whatever that is, was least favorite followed by the Bad Cat. Funny how the Wizard was not miles better. I know that is more an in room thing. Otherwise, everything sounded the same, minus those subtle differences. Swapping the same tubes into all of those would have been a PITA.
Forums only allow 5 media per post. It sucks for this.

I will do a video with them all. Might do a blind version first.

Ah. That makes sense. Forgot about that limitation. So next time you do something like this consider making 2 posts for your OP. Post 1 and Post 2. Looking forward to your Blind test.

To my ears the speakers & the mic are the strongest factors here. The differences between amps are subtle and I bet pretty hard to spot in a full mix.

That said even though it's not my favorite amp to play, I always love how the 6505+ records high gain. OTOH the SLO is one of my favorite amps to play and I don't care for how it records high gain. To think they're cousins, so weird.

Definitely.

The room, mic, mic placement, cabinet and speaker are a large part of the tone when recorded.

In the room, with the full sound of the speaker and reflections, they sound and feel quite different.
