Very similar to my ears. The 99 recto has a touch more of that Recto fizz in the presence / high top. While the 50th Recto seems a bit more aggressive, and maybe a little cleaner in the sizzle department. Both sound really good actually.
 
I do prefer the 99 but the 50th does have a bigger aggressive tone. The 99 is tighter to play.
 
The 50th sounds a bit "fuller" to me, but overall prefer the '99. Both do sound good. Mesa cab?
 
I owned a '99 that I sold to a forum member. I have the 2010 Reborn now.

This was a great sounding comparison. I was surprised how similar they sound. Both great!

The 19 was stock tubes but the 99 has a various. This will effect things but the clips really do show the differences well.

50th

For me, not much in it though. The 90's ones sound a bit more aggressive, 50th is more refined and a bit tamer. 95 sounded slightly tubbier than the 99
