VHT makes a cab that has all V30s I thought?

To be honest, I'm not really a VHT buff, but I thought the used Eminence P50's or something.

:?

Would anyone change their answer if they knew the amp was an Engl Blackmore?

No, I would just encourage you to go Bogner even more. That amp LOVES V30's.

VHT only uses P-50's now, they used to offer V30's though.

I really like my Mojo cab's. I think there built very well and sound great!

I've never heard of those.

there a company that makes 68' Marshall spec'd out cabs. They do a very fine job of it and the quality is very good. I got mine on E-bay for $325 unloaded and then went through Avatar for the speakers. Personally I think they are just as good as my Mesa and they were cheaper.

I believe the web site is www.mojotone.com

framus dragon cabs have v30s and these sound great as well.

+1 Framus Dragon. Just picked one up for my mesa dr, sounds better to me then the recto cab.

Not to bust anyone's chops, but I was looking for all cabs that have Vintage 30's. Sorry VHT guys.
My VHT 2x12 is an old one with V30s. In my 4x12 I replaced the P50s with Century Vintages. It now weighs 60-65 pounds. :!:

Voodoo 4x12. :D

I had one and traded it to Tony Mctallica1 for my VHT 4x12. Those don't (or at least didn't at the time) come with V30s. I did put some in and it sounded like liquid beef. I would recommend not drinking too much while using it because if you would unsuspectingly walk in front of it while hitting a low E the low-end may cause you to shit your pants

well i really love my mesa traditional cabs....but i really want to try a bogner 4x12 and maybe ill change my vote :D

Would you say these are worth the money compared to say..... a Splawn? Which is quite a bit cheaper.

Splawn and Bogner cabs are based off the old 60's style Marshall cabs...should sound very similar. I voted Splawn because there was no provision for 'Vintage 60's Marshall Bottom cab' and I like Scott...

Now I LOVE Bogner cabs but everyone I've ever tried sounds much tighter, fuller (sub-bass), modern than any vintage Marshall cab I've heard. The Bogner cabs do sound vintage-y, comparedto VHT, Diezel, Mesa cabs but I used to have two different kinds of Wizard cabs and those really nailed the old school, soft, warm, ultra sweet, bouncy, well worn in kind of old Marshall vibe.

I'm currently using the 'Mojo' version of a Marshall bottom cab vintage 60's size and wood...I love the sound...Splawn and Bogner were very similar to me. Though the Bogner was a slant cab and the Splawn a straight...go figure
