$9k for an 89 Soldano SLO 100?

Well, do you need it to be super super modern METULZZZ tight or just 80s/90s hard rock/80s metal tight? I found it did a nice HR tone with just an eq pedal in front, frown mid boost, with the mids turned down on the SLO around 3 or so, through GBs or 65s. Reminded me somewhat of a modded Marshall. SD1, OD1X, GE10, any of those worked really well for me.

Modern metulz is boosted 5150, which I guess doable for a boosted SLO.

Welcome to the boost rabbit hole. Grab a Boss SD1 for 30-40 bucks and give it a shot. Lower the gain, mids on the amp and try different combinations of gain/vol levels on the pedal. Of course, there's THOUSANDS of boost pedals out there so search out threads here on that subject. You'll be reading for months lol.
But, to my ears when I boosted the SLO it became a whole new amp. I boosted the lead channel, others boost the 'dirty clean' and get great results.

Then I became a little bit more broke than expected. All those delivery prices and shit doubles the price of any pedal for me. Nearly no local market. And I don’t want to get something nasty being stomped on barefoot by someone like Reza

Yep, EQ pedals work great for that as far as truly sculpting what you want out of a boost. No, you have a great amp....but if you want tighter then a boost is necessary IMO.
