What I find comical is some people don't think the reactions to what's happening to this country are warranted . It's all 100% warranted the problem is there are some people who are just too stupid to know what's happening around them or they do know and choose to remain silent about it.

Both are UNFORGIVABLE .
what is unforgivable is legislation based on religious beliefs. and if you don't think that is happening you are a dumbass. religious freedom is a wonderful thing, but religion is a personal journey.

Other than spraying it on a super corroded bolt and letting it sit all night, that shit is nasty for just about anything else.
It's like a jack of all lubes, master of none.

Best I've found so far for small stuff. And no fires.

That does work real well for all “light oil” applications. Although other than a Floyd Rose I’d keep it away from my strings or fretboard. And definitely nothing with silicone in it.

As for firearms, I like Slip 2000 and Wilson Combat Ultima-Lube.

Relax Dan. I have managed to have a few actual regular conversations with most of these guys here. It’s just the internet. Don’t take it so seriously buddy.
they are very few and far between.
like I said I'm not leaving. I'm just tying up the pointless discussions I've gotten myself into with one single post., as I will not be participating in them anymore more.
I intend to only seek out those "regular" conversations from here on out.

I’ve managed to not get into any of those frenzied, shit posting type situations here. A few semi heated exchanges but nothing too heavy.

Yes on the graphite. Also dry lube ( if anything) on strikers, striker channels and springs.

Oil attracts dirt.

right on. 90% of what I'm treating are door/window/cabinet hardware. most heavy machinery doesn't need it if you keep up on the grease. I only use oil for rusted on stuff that needs to be removed.

What's unforgivable is not being able to separate truth from lies that are designed to manipulate you into anger.

If I read one more article from thepeoplesvoice.tv to try and understand where people are coming from, I'm going to throw up lol

Firearms are a little different. Especially modern striker fired handguns. Very little oil. Maybe 5 spots get a drop each. Bolt Carrier Groups get fairly moderately lubed with grease or LSA.

1911s get heavily oiled.

You don’t gotta read everything.
But that's what I meant by my post earlier. I read it because I am honestly interested in where people get their ideas and views from. I thought if I try and read the source material it would make more sense, but it still turns up fruitless because any further conversation beyond what is within that article turns up empty.

Ignore can be your friend.
Instead of having to read all the stuff in real time, you get to choose which guys you'd
rather speed read through later on, after a good buzz has kicked in.

I’d love to see what a “normal” conversation with these guys looks like. Link?

Just look at this thread. How many responses have been other people’s idea of “acceptance”? Oil choices have been the most interesting part of this discussion lol

I’m not sure some people actually believe all the stuff they post. Some guys sure, but there is a lot of “For dramatic effect” going on.

A bunch of spoiled brats all trying to be king of the PlayPlace at the same time.....
