Acoustic recommendations?

If I recall correctly, the Yamaha APX series sounded better than CPX series, that is, their semi acoustic lines.
@Beyond Black are you looking for full acoustic or a semi (with piezo and/or internal mic maybe)?

I'll second the point that on the used market, Yamaha usually is a good deal, since you're not paying as much for the name as you would for a Martin.

Really hard to beat any of the Godin family of acoustics......Norman, Simon & Patrick, Seagull, Godin.

Yamaha is great bang for the buck.....their Japenese made guitars will hang with anything out there.......might be above your price point though.

Taylor are pretty consistently good.

I have a Mexican Guild that is a great guitar.

Yeah. If you are trying to go cheap, nothing wrong with that for sure. But taylor and martin are great. Taylor have a little brighter of a sound and are very beautiful. Martin have a full voicing and are so reasonant.

You really can't go wrong with any brand imo. The best thing to do is play the acoustic. They really speak to you. You will find your voicing fast.

Also to OP and others who want a BlueRidge at a sweet price..... Maurys Music is closing so these are available at stupid low prices just no returns..... the 000 models are dope and the D models too IME.

You're aware that you can resize your pics and that these acoustics have laminated bodies, right?
