Acoustic recommendations?

If I recall correctly, the Yamaha APX series sounded better than CPX series, that is, their semi acoustic lines.
@Beyond Black are you looking for full acoustic or a semi (with piezo and/or internal mic maybe)?

I'll second the point that on the used market, Yamaha usually is a good deal, since you're not paying as much for the name as you would for a Martin.

Oh, and this Reverb seller is local to me: https://reverb.com/shop/backroadsguitars
If anything pops up that catches your/his eye, I can pop in and check it out when I get the chance. They claim they make sure everything hanging on their wall is stage and studio ready, and so far everything I've played (a 1400$ Schecter V and a 160$ used Jackson) has felt great.
Very nice of you to offer!

Really hard to beat any of the Godin family of acoustics......Norman, Simon & Patrick, Seagull, Godin.

Yamaha is great bang for the buck.....their Japenese made guitars will hang with anything out there.......might be above your price point though.

Taylor are pretty consistently good.

I have a Mexican Guild that is a great guitar.

Yeah. If you are trying to go cheap, nothing wrong with that for sure. But taylor and martin are great. Taylor have a little brighter of a sound and are very beautiful. Martin have a full voicing and are so reasonant.

You really can't go wrong with any brand imo. The best thing to do is play the acoustic. They really speak to you. You will find your voicing fast.

Cant go wrong here.

Hit them up before buying though to see if they are still in stock or Email them as they are closing but otherwise these look like a stupid deal.

You're aware that you can resize your pics and that these acoustics have laminated bodies, right?

I think the forum software has "blown 'em up" Lisa. IOW, just the way it's displaying them.

I had a look at a bunch of 'em and they were all around 500k, kinda-perfect IMHO. :dunno:

Thanks, MM!
Each one is like 2 pages of scrolling on my end :ROFLMAO:
Try to shrink my pics for etiquette, but now has me wondering if mine are tiny to everyone else
