yeah this amp really sounds interesting...althoug I don't like the looks!
I LOVE the vintage Egnater look and this is somehow a step back...
but it's just me, still sounds great though and hopefully we can test drive it at the music fair 2011 in Frankfurt.
btw these knobs reminds me of my VH4

This guy is getting a little djenty with it. Sounds good and chunky IMHO. Keep in mind this is a very early prototype. According to Bruce, they've been refining it over the last year, so I'm betting it's REALLY gonna kick ass.

I think you did a great job capturing the riffy, chunky side of this amp. The clips with the fella from Egnater playing are great, but more traditional.
So, since you got to play it, what was your overall impression? Sounds like it can do metal pretty handily (which is the point), but do you think it will make a pretty well-rounded amp? Does the gain clean up with guitar volume?
I think the feature set and looks are kick ass. So many of my questions will be answered when I can just PLAY one. LOL.
I'm playing a Mesa Stiletto Deuce II now, which is very nice and Marhsally flavored. But, I am looking for something that is more aggressive and modern sounding too. I can't afford a Bogner Uber, or a Diezel Herbert, but if this amp will get me in the park, that would be great.

The latest update with this amp is that the final production version was shown at NAMM, and will be coming out early summer this year. We spent a lot of time fine tuning the sound of the amp, and getting feedback from players throughout the past year, and at NAMM. It's finally at the point where we are comfortable with it's sound to release it though. Believe me, we want this amp to be out as bad as you guys do. You can be assured that as any news about it comes up, I will let everyone know.

Thanks for the update. It sounds killer but Bruce your claiming it can mimic a lot of heavy hitters. If it's true at that price I will own one soon. I really like the Decimator idea too.
