Bad news for Mastodon fans

Looks like Mr Hinds has left the band. I don’t listen to them anymore but they were a massive part of my musical life back in 2008/2010

I feel bad for whoever has to replace him and learn those parts - he had his own unique and often complicated approach to playing.

Most people seem to think he’s just over being in a metal band which he has openly stated recently.

Band is as good as over now then for me. I LOVE this band. But in recent years they decided to make Brann the vocalist. In fact Brent thought that’s what they needed. The BEST stuff they did was when Brent, Brann and Troy sung. Sad day.
