Yes in my opinion. Listen to Flesh for Fantasy by Billy Idol, that's a Dimension D, C is the pedal version. I had a Dimension D when you could buy those things stupid cheap, same with the original Dimension C - sound alike. I sold my Dimension C right as prices were going up years back and netted a couple hundred bucks, then obviously regretted selling it.

I had purchased the Dimension D from a studio for like $50 bucks decades ago, didn't even have a rack at the time lol. Funny story, I had like a rocktron rack chorus unit, the Dimension D and a rack eq under my bed at my parents, they sold them in a yard sale when I was in college decades ago. They thought I didn't want them lol. Crazy. I still give my Mom grief about that lol.
Mother bought me that record when it came out. SS was ahead of his time with that track..

Did a little playing with the Analogman Bi-Chorus earlier. Fuckkkkk, I might end my chorus-buying-addiction, though I'd love to try an Asheville.

Does the Dimension C live up to the hype ???
I used one for bass gigs back in the '80s when they first came out and loved it.

If I had to describe it I'd say it's not your typical "thick" chorus; it's "more-dimensiony".

Takes the source material out of your face and spreads it out a little.

I used an Arion Sch-1 for years before getting a black label, long dash, silver screw CE-2. Didn't know what I was getting, just that it sounded good. I could dial in the SCH-1 to sound very close, but sold it for not much less than what I got the CE-2 for.

I also had a Small Clone. It was ok.

My buddy just picked up a cheap Chinese knockoff, that also has a "level" knob. It sounds fine, a bit brighter and not as gooey swirly. It can go faster and deeper.

I'd like to get a Dimension C some day.

The CE-2 has the sound.

I fixed a Arion Sch-1 for a forumite some months back ...... first time I had ever played one ....what a great chorus !!

Anyboy remember the DOD Icebox? I used one of those in the 90s and was less than happy with it. Some people talk highly about them :dunno:

ahoyhoy brotahtoes—great job resurrecting my ancient arion and small clone!
you could say i’m actively exploring assorted flavors within the choral space.. i prefer a buttery swirl, smoky mids, and a note of citrus .👨🏻‍🍳

be well.
🤣
Oh yeah ..... I fixed his original small clone also .... The Arion I fixed ..... broke the footswitch ( plastic footswitches were never a good idea ) and then fixed it again ! lol

Free The Tone makes some good looking pedals ..... that sucker has to be digital ??

It's displaced everything else at the moment. It's fucking incredible.
I had a decent Analogman collection for a while ..... had the Bi Chorus .... that Dual Compressor ..... had 3 or 4 Sunface variants ... had a KOT with all the bells and whistles too ...

I sold it all when the prices went nuts after Covid ... I think I literally doubled what I paid on almost all of them :giggle:

So I joined the club. I bought a Red Witch from their website.. I always wanted that one, so I have to scratch that itch first..
It's coming from frggin New Zealand.. LOL Hopefully it won't take 6 months..
It was a flat rate of $250 delivered tho.. Dealers must take a big chunk to offer it at the same price plus shipping and tax..
