Thanks, audio still isn't the best with the speaking, and yes the audio in general still dosent nail whats in the room, but THAT clip where I go thru all the features is fine, its a versatile one channel amp, appreciate the agree lol

I have to admit that guy has his EVH chops down .
I think most of the vibe is coming from his playing though.
Any amp without a great player is just another box of volts .

Actually when Mike plays, he sounds more like Lynch and a mix of others, but he is just showing how well the FIREBOLT does EVH, so its not a "moved on" scenario, just a DEMO, you love EVH, me as well and so does Mike. All good. The pre amp is a special something, its got MOJO, thats all. Glad we don't have to attack each other

1. Moriano and Himmel...who in the hell are these people? No offense. but i never even heard of them until now! lol. ...well its true.

2. Billy IS just cloning others designs. It's already been proven. He conned Mensur out of the schematics and is reproducing them verbatim, adding some add-ons like switchable 10k/39k slope resistor, etc. and badging it as a Firebolt (Cameron Jose) and Venom (Cameron Aldrich) and marrying it to whatever power section to make it a 20 watter, 50, or 100w. How do we KNOW....well, he's boasted about it in postings on forums for years. Further, we...me/Steve have had amps MODed or completely built by him. Once reverse-engineered, it as determine they were exact duplicates of others designs! Again, due to his limited engineering aptitude, we also concluded he did not know how to scale the power section appropriately.

I'm sorry you guys are getting sucked in like some users to a drug dealer due to his bullshitting ability. Yes, the amps sounded well, but when you compare a boutique amp or modded amp to a low-gain plexi or stock 2204 provided...duh, you answer your own question!. It's gonna "sound" significantly better! That doesn't mean as good as it could or built well, only what you're used to.

In any event, this thread is going nowhere n things being rehashed. Either folks are listening or not and it appears a couple refuse to listen and with vested interest and i dont think have the years of insight and background we have.

I was ready to get the Axe II, but when I heard George Lynch say that he didn't care for it... It would sure make life easier, but it just doesn't look cool. I like to looking at my gear, just as much as I do playing through it. I don't see why Axe and Kemper can't make a device that looks like a traditional head? It's not like it would tough to do.

I have to say that the clips of the EVH, SLO and even the Blades are pre and post production BULLSHIT!!!!!! Now....I am not saying (because I have not been in a room with any of these amps) that they do not sound good.

I want to hear an I phone clip, a zoom clip for fucks sake and old vid camera. Drop the fucking crap back tracking look down between your legs and see what you have hanging there and represent. That's all...Flame away!

This was with a ZOOM Q2, I agree, I like raw simple, tell it like it is recordings.
James Lugo, thanks for being cool. I don't have the recording skills like James or I would do a better audio of the take done here.
But it gets the point across. I love the FIREBOLT, had it 6 months and no issues.
Had Lynchs SLO prototype way back in 2000 and it was great, but this FIREBOLT is more aggressive n Marshally and totally DIG the tone I hear and FEEL…... to best describe it.
Not hear to bash back at people. I just love playing guitar too much to start hating n get pissy at people here on RT.

Are these Jose/Aldrich/Cameron mods just for '80s cock rock? Why doesn't anybody ever turn that mid knob up higher and play something a little more contemporary? Would love to hear another iphone clip like this but with less presence/treble, more mids, and less Van Halen. How about something from the '90s or later?

Something like the first 25 seconds of this? A little more aggressive and modern sounding. BTW, this CCV clips is one of the few I think I like. But the CCV I owned sounded nothing like it.
