Bogner Uberschall Rev Blue 6l6 Question

My mistake man. I mixed you up with someone else who recently posted about the UU. He had the Kt88 version. Anyways, yes to each his own and we all have different taste. I know what you are talking about with metallic sound in some of the clips. I have noticed that also but whats strange is mine does not sound like that. Almost makes me wonder if these are varying a bit from amp to amp but I dont want to assume that either.
What Cab/Speakers do you use?

Man, surprised you didn’t dig it if you dug the rev blue. I could get my Uber ultra to sound near identical to my rev blue if I wanted, plus way more sounds that I actually like even more. What cab and speakers were you running it with? I’m surprised you didn’t like it with low tunings especially. I mean the thing cuts SUPER well in dense mixes with low tunings. Maybe more traditional Marshall just more your thing? Could try some crazy modded Marshall’s like ground zero or monomyth? I love my monomyth!

It's different. I find the Rev Blue more organic. The UU has a metallic clank to it. I used my MF400B with it, which might be the wrong cab, but since i only have one Cab at the moment there was no other choice. Yeah, i guess i'm more a Marshall Guy. I'm constantly fighting with it though. :D
There's almost no chance to try one out here, if any.
Had the same issue a few years ago. I actually read what i wrote in the description of one of my clips. I wanted to buy another Über, after i sold it, but then i compared it to me Rev F i had back then and cured my GAS.
They are all not much different from each other anyway. Even with different Cabs and Mics you can get them pretty close.
I just dialed in each sound on it's own, without any reference and years apart.

The Bogner Über-Ultra has that "clank-issue"

I give up.
I ordered yet another D-Moll, which was advertised with 6L6, but came with TAD EL34 Redbase and i highly prefer my boosted 2203.
Seems like i'm doomed to play this "Dad-Rock"-Amp for the rest of my life.
And even though i'm already long of Dad-Rock age, i'm still playing brutal Death-Metal stuff with it.
What can you do? :D

Was anybody dumb enough to spend 5k on the Evil Pumpkin? Except for the one guy on YouTube of course? :D
