It was used on board some old Jackson's and very well loved by everyone who had it. I don't know if it was a boost or preamp but if anyone can do it correctly he started this thread.

Im not a fan of the fulltone ocd, owned a ocd and sold it and never looked back, but i do own the vemuram tsv808 and i love it, my favorite od pedal ive owned or tried, its not a typical tube screamer, its a whole different sounding beast.

yeah ...... I've been going over the schematic .... I think I'm going to do a small run of those ..... and like I said ... put the clipping options and the bass & saturation on the front ..
the vids I've checked out all sound really good .
they are super rare and expensive .... my favorite clones to do !!

How about a double Mosferatu clone

Here’s mine

How about a 2 in 1 pedal. One pedal being a SD, TS9, 808 variant. The other one being a noise gate.

My suggestion depending on market trends.
Two words.
Fuzz !!!!
If you crossover the " not a fuzz guy " , you'll explode sales.

I think something with a blend knob that retains the feel/bounce of an amp is the holy grail. I’ve been thru a ton of boosts and ODs and many sound fine. But most still mess with the interaction enough where I either have to set it way low or just deal with the changes.

I get why some people dig the tightness that TSs have but I go for a lead boost that still keeps the amp interaction the same…which is about impossible with most pedals. I’m also not a good enough player to be this picky, ha ha.

you need a Chiron ....

I had a love/hate with the original Marshall Shredmaster. Thru the right amp it was killer but hissy af. I still have it but the pots are fubar.

I've built several Shredmasters .... I could most likely fix your original if you wanted ...

the HM-2 is a good idea maybe ... not sure ...

Can you believe, I took a 470pF capacitor and just sort of randomly started standing it on end on two different solder points on the board. I luckily found two solder points that the hiss was reduced but the tone was still mostly there. I tacked it in place and used it like that until the pots became unuseable. But I must have removed it because it’s not there anymore.
