I appreciate your lack of Voivid

All I want to know is if this is going to affect my purchases on Celine Dion and Bryan Adams merchandise.

Yeah about that:

After U.S. President Donald Trumptook office in January 2017, he sought to replace NAFTA with a new agreement, beginning negotiations with Canada and Mexico. In September 2018, the United States, Mexico, and Canada reached an agreement to replace NAFTA with the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA), and all three countries had ratified it by March 2020. NAFTA remained in force until USMCA was implemented. In April 2020, Canada and Mexico notified the U.S. that they were ready to implement the agreement. The USMCA took effect on July 1, 2020, replacing NAFTA.

The great negotiator made the deal we have, so if he’s looking for someone to blame, perhaps a mirror is all that is required.
Well maybe, but as you know or should know anyway, you don’t always get everything you want in a deal. Particularly if your own side has a doing everything they can to sand bag you.

Thank you for some common sense. It took decades to get us to this point, it will take decades to get us out and starting an economy war with two of our biggest allies is completely stupid. Especially over a deal he put into place to begin with.

Fixing American manufacturing, if they can even ever be done isn't going to happen with tariffs overnight. It will take years and years if it can ever be done and why most every economist agrees on.
Yeah because you two guys are the voice of common sense when it comes to national economics.

Think I’ll trust the guy that’s made millions, lost them and made them again over random internet liberals. Maybe you two could give us all a primer on the great Obama and Biden economic plans ?

No, you signed, you live with the agreement you agreed to. This is a page out of the many Trump bankruptcies, trying to change the agreed upon terms after the fact.

See the difference is, I never lost mine. 😂

And btw, globalization was the doing of George Bush, back around 1990, if I recall, he was a Republican. He left us with a great economy after his single term.

You're a billionaire? Good for you!

AFAIK, globalization has been around for decades. If it hadn't, we would've never started seeing Toyotas and Hondas in the 1970s. The farming out of manufacturing from US companies for cheaper labor didn't really start until NAFTA. Remind me, who signed that bill?

He said millions.

We probably didn't know it at the time but globalization started the moment the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.

And when UMSCA was created Trump was not in a position to push tariffs like he is now. Time will tell on this tariff thing but I'm in this for the long haul.

Strapping Young Lad
VoiVod
Loverboy

All better than 311

I think this is a joke as your next list is much better. I don't consider 311 a metal band. Loverboy certainly isn't metal but that guitar tone on Get Lucky album was fucking gooooood. I had to look up Strapping Young Lad. Didn't appear to be anything I'd want to listen to for an extended period. IMO Rush, Triumph and YYZ are closer to metal than 311 or Loverboy.

It was earlier, Ross Perot ran on it in 1992, two years prior to NAFTA ratification. Remember that “great sucking sound”?

Oh. Guess I was trying to make you more rich :dunno:

Running a campaign on it is one thing. Signing it into law is another. Again, who did that?
He ran a campaign on it because it was ALREADY occurring, and he was against it. As I said earlier, it began around 1990, that’s when Walmart stop having Made in America banners all over the store and quietly started shifting to primarily imported inventory.

People were complaining wages were not keeping up, sound familiar? The solution was flood the market with imports so your not rising wages went further. Bush set it into motion, Clinton just followed that lead.
