when u buy someones spot in line that doesnt reset the time right? It still would go from the initial purchase date right?? as that is the reason some have gone that route as a portion of the wait has already been done by the initial purchaser

That's the whole point of buying someone's place in line. If I was told the amp would of been ready in March 2011, I wouldn't be typing right now.

What a joke of a way to run a business, everybody loves this guy and kisses his ass and for years hes been screwing people around, i cant believe the way he handles shit.
it is a crime to support and stick up for this guy anymore, the customers deserve better than the way they are treated and it would suck wondering all the time if they will ever get their amps when they are supposed to or if they will ever get a amp period. seems like theres always somebody thats willing to help him out but one day hes gonna run out of people and then there will be nobody and when its ruined its only because he did it to himself.
its too bad he has his issues or problems but he needs to stop acting like a little kid when somebody says the wrong thing to him, he needs to be a man and not take his toys home like a child.

Thank you for all the support, I will trade the amp to a better customer than I, I have opted to stick with DIEZEL products and will no longer advocate my dealing with this business, maybe!

Wow. What a trainwreck this is. I have an amp I have been waiting for 2 1/2 years, but knew that going in. It is not any builders on this forum, so don't try and guess. We communicate all the time, and looks like it might be soon. If someone wrote me a letter like that, for spending major coin with them, there would be a knock upon their door for a more thorough explanation.

No dog in the race - I sold my Cameron - loved the tone but feared any issue with future support/repair due to the goop.. but that is the right thing to do Brad!

There are plenty of other modded marshalls around.

The other option is to reverse one that exists already and get over this, nothing in there will be revolutionary. I bet it has tubes, caps and resistors...

Damn send one to ink azam already and the whole world can have them asap.

just wanted to refresh some people's memories and bring some perspective

hell, I remember reading this stuff back in 2000 on HC before rig-talk
existed

back then people were waitng years for MC to mod their amps (many of whom never got their amps returned !)

not to mention some of these guys, that when they finally got amps back from MC it wasn't even their amp (MC modded someone elses amp and sent it to them)!!

not long after the shit got really deep for MC and he annouces he's no longer modding amps

he was going to finish what mods he had to complete then start his company "cameron amplification"

That way he "MC" could consistently deliver amps and avoid all the problems of the past :

that wonderful revelation eventually led to the threads linked above

I do not understand why people keep buying Camerons. He does great work, yes, but there are so many other awesome builders out there nowadays that it just does not make sense to give money to someone like Mark. He clearly has no intentions of EVER becoming a good businessman and taking care of his customers.

Just stop buying his amps, get an amp from a builder you KNOW you will get your amp from AND customer service from, and never deal with Mark's BS again.

Exact reason I sold my Aldrich mod. It was a killer amp though.

I kick myself in the a** every day - that was my best tone I ever had, plugged straight in. Add a PQ3.. wow.
Not sure what demons Mark is dealing with.. the few tiems I spoke to him, he was cool, helpful. I sincerely hope if Brad gets involved, that this line can happen. I would get one.. through Brad obviously to help him out for helping us out.
