I'd really dig the Purpleburst and Blackburst Angelus models, and the Snow Cloud TAT.

Some of them are really gaudy. But I'm diggin' the Transparent Black Burst, Iris Violet, Frozen Sky, Dark Night, and Black Forest. I think you all know I like transparent black guitars by now... :D

Iris Violet and Black Forest are my favs so far. DOES WANT NAO!

if you get an angelus, please invite me up to hotlanta to play it. if there's even a chance that i can adapt to the neck, i'm gonna get one.

the guitar i'm playing now has a thicker neck than i'm accustomed to, and it's not giving me as much trouble as i thought it would. if the angelus neck is about the same, i can finally eliminate my guitar GAS

I'm really thinking about getting that Iris Violet Custom. It's not an Angelus, but if what Code001 said is true, the necks on the Angelus are the same as a Gibson Les Paul Custom in terms of radius and nut-width. You're welcome to drop by the ATL any time, though.

IF I were to get an Angelus, it would definitely be the Transparent Black Burst. But it might be too similar to what I already have, that's why I'm gonna try and avoid it.

Which Iris Violet guitar are you talking about? There are no "custom" Iris Violet models.

The one Pete from The Absence used to own.

The nut width on Gibson Les Pauls is 1 11/16'' (43mm). The nut width on Caparisons and ESPs is 1 5/8'' (42mm). The radius on ESPs and Les Pauls is 12''. The radius on Caparison guitars is a compound radius and is something like 14'' to 16''. The scale length on the Horus and Gibsons is roughly the same. The way the TAT's bridge is in relation to the body (and the way the neck is setup with the angle) is somewhat similar feeling to a Les Paul. The neck thickness is a little thinner than a 60s Gibson neck, IIRC.

What he said.

Pete's custom isn't Iris Violet, it's a custom color only used on his guitar. This is Iris Violet.

Oh, well whateverthefuckitis I want it. Like I said, I can't keep track of all the freakin' differences. They all look purple to me. Too many names! Dark Night, Black Night, White Night, Shades of Cream Night. WTF!

The dude selling Pete's old guitar is asking a pretty insane price if I remember correctly.

About $2300, which isn't far off from the Amott TAT you sold, I believe. ;)

I thought he was asking closer to 3 grand. I guess $2300 is a decent price. I personally think the Amott TAT should have went for WAY more than it did. That's Caparisons equivalent to a relic'd '59 Les Paul.

$2300 is still pretty high, especially when you add on shipping from the UK. I'd drop $2K on it, but after shipping and tax/duties (if there are any) It'd be closer to three grand. I'd rather just buy a new one for that price if I were to do it. But I won't buy a new one 'cause three grand is still ridiculous for this type of guitar. Hell, my PRS Artist wasn't even three grand.

It is high, but Mark has sold Caparisons for more. That's what I was getting at.

From what I can remember, the only ones I sold for more than $2300 were the Amott TAT and the Venus ($3200).

I would check http://www.digimart.net for cheaper, used models.

Is is possible to get that site in English? :D

I didn't see any English version link. But I can read some Japanese. If you just type whatever you want in that search bar at the top you should be able to find it.

I don't think, unless maybe you would run it through one of those online translator things. You can search for stuff in English though, and if you see something you like there's an email address for every guitar on there. Just email the store with a link to the guitar and if they speak English, you'll usually at least get a reply. Other times you'll never hear back. And if you need a currency conversion website, www.xe.com is what I always use.

Even if you speak Japanese, they won't always reply. Ask me how I know. :gethim:
