casters = the tone suck

I notice alot more change when the cab is on an amp stand or off the ground, like the avatar 212 cab is in your picture guitarslinger. Frankly castors don't bother me much, I only have them on 3 cabs and 2 of them I can remove them. I have been running my 212's on their side for more horizontal dispersion and it seems to help, plus it gets the upper speaker closer to my head....

you know i notice i get alot of great response from the crowd when i work on my abs - not so much when i dont - but i usually compensate by shaving my chest and snail trail and throwing on a pair of assless chaps.

seriously though - you wouldn't want your cabinet resonating with a stage covered in other cabinets a drumkit and foldbacks - it might sound good in a rehearsal room - but on a stage it's a bad idea - you'll feel the sound more - but i might actually sound worse.
