I love it.
Lots of nice ones in there.
HC has some of the most annoying opinionated people I've ever seen.

As far as warplanegray is concerned, he has posted clips before ;) Not that I'm using myself as the measuring stick here b/c I'm NOT, but yeah...

his playing was described as "a cat running across the strings"

I didn't read the thread, but those are some killer guitars.

But but but....

He owns a Bogner XTC 101B in a pricey flight case AND a Soldano SLO100 AND only plays Gibson guitars...

I thought that gave people instant street cred??

If you can't appreciate a good vintage strat your tastes are not varied enough, sorry ;)

Between the original Sonic Blue Strats and your '63 I can't decide what color my dream Strat would be. :inlove:

Thx, mang, I love my strat. And I have actually played A LOT of vintage strats and would put mine up against pretty much any of them as far as playability and tone goes. My first guitar teacher in Vancouver was/is a vintage gear freak and he actually found my strat for me on consignment at a music store. Once I had bought it and had it refretted (they were very worn) he tried to lowball me for it

That's a funny story about how you acquired your '63. I received my '63 SG from my father, so that's kind of cheating. :) Out of all the people on here and HCAF you're one of the few people that stand out as having a collection I'm truly envious of. WOT is definitely one of the others.

LOL, do you have a link to said clips posted by warplanegray? I'm sorry, but he is tarnishing Canada's reputation on a daily basis....

Thx, mang :D And congrats on the '63 SG, I'm sure its killer

I don't have a link to the clips unfortunately, and wouldn't be surprised if he took 'em down. There are tons of cool Canadians, I can't take responsibility for the bad ones lol. Or that 666dave666 guy. Man that guy makes Canada look bad

It's all good, my Best friend is from Toronto

I still keep hoping that 666dave666 is a middle aged troll... if not then the upcoming youth are more troubled than I thought. :scared:

It really is a sad day when a collection of vintage strats gets flamed. WTF is wrong with people?! lol

666dave666 seems pretty stupid

Under my ice berg moniker I flat out posted in my sig that I used to use the name bunghole, and he still seemed to think I was a noob who was pretending to be a former regular. I hope he was joking :scared:

They don't effing know. I chalk it up to that, and booze + internet bravado. I really don't care one way or the other.

They can play their Ibanez Jems all day long in their bedrooms for all I care. I have gigs tomorrow and Friday.

My Strats make me money

Show me a guy who has a wicked cool collection of custom shred axes and you're speaking my language (Swahili)

Shred guitars before they were known as shred guitars:
