Considering the purchase of a triple rectifier stack - What do I need to check?

Sorry about the delay posting clips. I've been on the road for work for the last week and I set it up during the weekend. I'm still dealing with some oscillation interference when I dial my gain to the level where I need it to be (It's getting worse past 11 o'clock). I thought the sound was clean when I picked it up, but the seller had young kids so I didnt push the amp as far as I would have liked to. It's very manageable straight out of the amp, but when I activate my tube screamer pedal, it's getting worse.

I saw online that either my pre-amp tubes or capacitors may be the culprit. Any cues to see what can be the reason why i'm having this? Seems very unusual for pre-amp tubes to fail this way from what I understood; but I might be wrong here!

You didn’t turn the preamp gain up on a Master volume amp because of his kids? Or is the issue with the channel volume/master volume?

Oh I did, but I didnt have my pedals with me. So dialing the gain on the amp itself isnt causing any issues, but once I am setting the tone as I like it, this is where the oscilating happens; and it gets unbearable with the TS-9 on. The issue might be caused by a combination of settings.

For start, here are my settings :
Channel 3; modern, diodes and Bold
Presence : 1 o clock
Master : 10 o clock
Gain 11
Bass 1:30
Mid 10:30
Treble 3

But now, I just saw this in the manual
11.) When using PUSHED with the GAIN Control maxed (5:30), do not run the TREBLE Control above (2:30). Settings above (2:30)can create possible oscillation in certain preamp tubes in the V1 position. This can be avoided altogether by setting the TREBLE Control sensibly when the GAIN Control is maxed. Use the PRESENCE Control for additional brightness.

So i'm starting to think it might just be my settings. (Which is unfortunate, because it's f'n mean as is!) The gain is not maxed, but knowing that a few combinations might cause this exact issue, I will need to dig a little deeper into this. Kids are in bed now so I have to wait until tomorrow to test it out and play with my settings a little more!
