Curious why we never talk about these amps

I've played something from all of these, I just rarely see them come up.

Is it because we are too obsessed with Mesa, Marshall, Diezel, Friedman, Cameron, Wizard, Splawn, Bogner, Engl, Peavy, EVH, Fractal, Kemper, etc etc
 
I've got a Fender Showman clone that is fucking awesome, had both the brown and black panel circuits put into it.

Used to own a Milkman Half Pint, which is basically a Princeton preamp with a Bassman power section but tweaked to be even better. Probably the most versatile clean/edge-of-breakup amp I've ever heard but I regretted my speaker choice in that combo so wound up selling it for the above mentioned Showman head...now I have a slight itch for a Bassman and really don't want to go down another brown/black/silver panel $2k+ rabbit hole again.

I mostly use the cleans for surf or spaghetti western stuff and paired with a SurfyBear rack mount spring reverb.
 
I actually rate blackstar above bugera. I still find they lack sonic high gain qualities I prefer compared to, say, a Fender 5150 III 50W model (any of them). They also record awful but sound better in person IMO.

Owned a Laney and sold it. High gain yes but outgunned in this house. Sounded great though.

I’ve done a bunch of clips of my gh100s/ti, think I’m the only around that has a Laney though
 
'60's Vox AC30's and Fender Blackfaces are some of my favorites for cleans and do come up in conversations when cleans are relevant to the topic. The vintage Fender Tweeds and Brownfaces are good also for medium gain, which most don't care about on this forum

I hated all the Hughes & Kettner's I've played. Didn't care for any Black Star's either. Egnater and Bugera have some amps that are good values for the money. Some Orange's imo were pretty good, but not amazing or any all time favorites for me. A lot of doom and stoner bands like them, which is not at all popular on this forum

To me vintage Fender's and Vox's are the only great amps on that list and not as many guys here care about clean to medium gain types of sounds. If they did they'd be some of the more talked about amps on here
 
Many Laney's are also great amps for the price, especially the L50H being to me having the best quality tone of their line up IME. Some like the Iron Heart and a few older models I didn't think were that good
 
I used a Hughes and Kettner Triamp mk2 for a number of years. It was during a phase where I had offloaded a bunch of amps and needed something that could do it all. I would still rate it as a very good multi channel, "jack of all trades" amp. Never tried the mk3 though.

Here, H&K don't get any love at all, although I suppose this demographic of player will likely have multiple amps that excel at each individual thing a Triamp is trying to do in one amp.

I like almost all amps you mentioned. I’m a variety guy
 
I enjoy my Fender Super Twin, now I have 2. One needs to go to an amp tech, but the other is working fine no thanks to UPS
 
I think the brands like orange, vox, Fender, etc... we know what they are about, and they get their love for their purpose. Not so much new stuff? H&K, every guitarist admires Alex, but hearing him live is the only exposure I've gotten to that amp in the US.

I don't really know about Blackstar; Bugera; or Egnater. They have some great sounding models IMO, but friends have warned me about quality. :dunno:
Not so much Egnater, I still want to take one of his classes.
