Thank you.

It’s important to try and keep some perspective with the Jap comment. Kind of strange I’d need to mention this though. Most of the country wanted to kill as many as possible after having just lost 2403 souls in an unprovoked attack. Remember the internment camps. Who wouldn’t want payback?

Hell, he had pics of soldiers holding the decapitated heads of Jap soldiers. All in the photo were laughing.

People also forget that the Japanese were raping and eating ( literally) people as they tore through China. In retrospect it's hard not to think we jumped the gun a little. Shoulda let them finish off China maybe then dropped the bomb.

My point is that The Japanese soldiers in WW2 were willing to do anything for the emperor. Including eating people and flying their planes into ships. This is not 1943 though. Japan are our allies and many are our friends and neighbors. There's a massive difference between you referencing your grandfather and the other American boys who fought in WW2 and someone going around using the term "Jap" in a derogatory, racist manner today.

My Friend Jason ( whom I refer to as Jap or the Asian, which is not offensive at all to him) was born and raised across the highway from where I live right now. Which is in the middle of nowhere. He's the only redneck Jap I have ever met. His dad was an American redneck soldier who brought his mom home from overseas. His dad is now dead and his mom has been living in Okinawa for as long as I've known him. She came over for awhile a few years back. She's a riot. Smoking all my cigarettes and the only English she knows very well are curse words. Her name is Tatsuko and she's awesome.

Anyway, Jason is half Japanese and he looks 100% Japanese. And his sister looks even more Japanese than him and she is smoking ass hot. She's married to a drummer so clearly she's dumber than a bag of dicks, but hot and stupid isn't a terrible combination.

I think they knew the japs were planning an invasion and said nothing. We were too isolationist minded for the globalists who failed in their attempts at a global order with the league of nations post WWI and that was the play that sucked us into Europe against the better advice of our nation's founders. Mob mentality, just like every non critical thinker who put on a mask and stuck a needle in their arm cause "we're in this together". I expected it would cause offense but that really wasn't my goal.
I will disagree with you. They "knew" the Japanese were coming but never knew how and when. It was an intelligence failure and exposure.
It was a crazy time of compromised disinfo (when isn't it?).

Then, the Battle of Midway...

They "knew" the Japanese were coming but never knew how and when.
So sit on our hands until they strike and kill Americans? Seems like the pinnacle of poor leadership more than an intelligence failure.

Let's imagine what a preemptive strike at that moment would have looked like.

Thank you for sharing!
One of my Grandfathers fought in the Pacific (Also with all of his brothers) and the other in Europe.
The former married my Japanese Grandmother when he was stationed there. He also fought in Korea.
Came back to the states and ran a music shop until he passed away.
I did extensive reading on the New Guinea campaign.
My 2nd uncle fought in the 41st.

He never spoke about it and everyone was afraid to ask.
So all I had was books.

What you say about your Japanese grandmother is not uncommon

After the bombs fell and Japan surrendered the US came in for the occupation period.

Many were in Japan for a long time waiting to get shipped home.

A quite a few fell in love and brought back Japanese woman.

I can understand that part.

What i cant figure out is how they turned off the gas after 4 horrible yrs of fighting.

Then both sides accepted the other like nothing happened.

I guess love truly does heel pain

Yamamoto went to harvard but i don't think he finished

he Spent many yrs in the US. Spoke perfect english.

He knew and understood our capabilities and patriotism.
He was totally against attacking us and even debated it with the higher ups.

His closing quote in the tora tora tora move is very chilling

He knew what was coming And was not happy

Btw tora tora tora was not the attack code word.

It was the code sent back to declare the surprise attack worked

A third wave was planned but not launched.

The men of the Yorktown are true heroes. Grip it and rip it. The spirit of those men live strong.

I still have certain people on ignore so there's less idiocy to comment on :ROFLMAO:
I have never put a single person on ignore. Stop being such a poof mate, this is all fun. Don't let it all rattle your barn.

I don't like talking to satanists and apologists for satanists but I get why you would say that. I agree I didn't think I'd see the day where I'd do that.

Yeah good to have you back Brother TP.

I've never put anyone on ignore either. Haven't even been tempted 'cause it's not in my wheelhouse as an option.

That's not to say I don't fully understand why peeps do it.

You can't handle your faulty views being challenged so you choose to bury your head in the sand.
