I can't believe how superficial some people are concerning the looks of a guitar amp

We play ROCK

Everything concerning the image matters

I'm scared.

Anyone that spends that much time getting in costume is hardcore. And the make up? Mercy! That is so mean! At least another hour slaving in front of the mirror.... And that upside down cross? How did they come up with that? It is so original and shocking!

And the hair is just to die for! Look at that shine! Nothing says "I'm a bad man" like a long hot oil treatment... So metal :worship:

Clearly these are very metal boys with a mean streak.

:emofag: :grim:

I think the new look is awesome. :D

so papa, better at low gain than the Schmidt also? or we're just talking about the high gainers?

BLACK METAL!!

In all seriousness, I'm curious how this thing is gonna sound. I've been really liking some of the lower gain sounds I'm getting from my Herbert. And I play in an extreme/death metal band. No costumes or make-up though...

This thread makes me want to rock a bright pink, polka dotted D-Moll.

this topic is starting to put a smile on my face ...

Indeed bringing immortal to the post is hilarious

Isnt this Gorgoroth? retarded band...

D-moll reminds me of an Electradyne with a ships porthole.

Actually, they're members of (what used to be?) Gorgoroth. I admit all these KISS-clothes and make-up look kind of gimmicky in broad day light – can't properly appreciate a horror flick while enjoying the sun on the beach either – but the atmosphere they manage to create at some of their concerts is pretty impressive. Gotta love it when tear gas is needed for crowd control during a gig! :D

So... What about the d-moll? Any new clips out yet?

Oops, sorry. I use to listen to black metal and actually liked some of Gorgoroth's stuff (Destroyer, I think?). Some of those guys create some really atmospheric stuff and the black-metal thing was not a gimmick: they really lived (and died) for it.

But... moar D-Moll clips and info! What are the three channels like? I get that it's probably clean, crunch, and lead, but is the second channel in the vein of the VH4/Hagen second channel and the third in the vein of the VH4/Hagen third channel?

I am sure Peter will chime in But one of the dealers in Montreal that I was talking to when I checked out the Einstein said.
Clean was kinda of Herbert,CH2 was a crunch similar to the Texas in Einny a more mid gain ACDC crunch , and the higain was more like Herbert again w/mid cut

Those were his descriptions when he heard the amp in March at Messe .Could have changed a ton by now though

That's helpful. Glad to hear it had a "mid gain" channel. Diezel's interpretation of "mid gain" is still a lot of gain and I spend a lot of time in that channel. Question is: is the high gain like Herbert 2+ or 3? Of course I expect it to be it's own thing that is not a VH4, Herbert, or Hagen, but there still is a signature "Diezel Mega Crunch" which is expressed in VH4 Channel 3 and Herbert 2+ and the "Diezel Lead" expressed in VH4 channel 4 and Herbert Channel 3. Just curious whether Channel 3 of the D-Moll is a new expression of "Diezel Mega Crunch" or "Diezel Lead."

Cardinal IIRC The dealer said it was more in vein of CH3 of herbert in regards to gain ,different voicing similar gain
The Einstein I played had the Kt77 in it ,so I would say it was a lil stiffer .less compressed ,so maybe thats part of the tone difference with D,moll as well

I have to say this look has started to grow on me . In all black as Peter Stapfer mentioned would be very cool

We decided to have two options. One would be
the wood panel covered by a kind of tolex or
grill cloth and the other would be the black
anodized metal "D" grill.

@Raf: Schreib´ doch einfach mal an peterdiezel (at) diezelamplification (dot) com
Dann können wir quatschen.

Cheers,
Peter
