...my brand new VH4 :)

Glad to be part of the Diezel family (and Rig-Talk too)!
I also wanna thank Peter Diezel and Peter Stapfer for all the support...simply the greatest customer service I had the pleasure to deal with.

Cheers,

Paolo

Here´s my Einstein in different setups, I use him for Rock´n Roll/Garagerock with the Orange (with G12H) or Diezel 4x12 FC (V30), sometimes with my modified Marshall AX (G12T-75, but old ones).
For Punk/Hardcore I use te Einstein with my Diezel Cab, I also use it sometimes with a Harley Benton Frontloaded Cab with old G12-65. This is great for oldschool Metal/Hardcore-Sound. Will post a file with a comparison of those Cabs soon. You can easily hear the difference between the V30s and the G12-65s.

I can introduce myself to this forum with a description of my current rig.

Herbert and Bogner 2x12" front loaded speakercabinett. I want to get a rear loaded one for tighter sound.

I had the Einstein a couple of years ago, but I had to sell it to buy another guitar

This is my current doormat.

Pete Cornish G-2
T-rex Replica
Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah

I'm going to buy the Colombus midi controller, and have it on the floor besides my pedalboard, since the current one takes too much space on the tonetrunk. I'm also concidering selling the t-rex replica and the fulltone wah and replace them with Eventide Timefactor and Modfactor.

This is my #1
I built this guitar myself with Warmoth parts.
Alder Body
Birdseye Maple w/Ebony Neck
Floyd Rose
Schaller Locking Tuners
Seymour Duncan SH-2 and SH-5

I also got:
Gibson Les Paul Standard
MusicMan Steve Morse Signature
Fender Stratocaster
Gibson Customshop ES-335

hey guys,

first time poster here, just registered... can i join in? ;)

picked up this beast on saturday and i'm just beginning to explore its possibilites. funy thing is... i've *never* owned a head, diezel is my first :) i've been a rack guy, triaxis and rocktron piranha graced my rack and i was very satisfied with both (actually, you can't see it in the picture but there's a small 4U rack on a stand left of the diezel/mesa rig, populated with rocktron, roland fx and mesa 20/20). i'll upload a few pictures of my other toys in the coming days. this is a crappy cell phone pic but i couldn't resist :) below vh4 is a mesa roadking II 2×12.

kind regards,

sasha

Here i am, i've bought this cab this saturday and i already love it. I use it with a 5150...but sooner or later i'll get a Herbie.

I've found it in a shop near my city! And also herbert and VH4 are coming (not in my house unfortunately), einstein and shmidt are already present in the shop.

Anyway, sorry for my english, i try to describe what i hear: i tested the diezel with a mesa oversized 4x12. The first thing i noticed is about the "tone" of the bass frequencies: i love it. I think it has more bass than the mesa, but they're more tight..there is no lack in definition. About mid-high frequencies i say they are not harsh, not annoying and the sound cut well through the mix. The mesa i think is a bit more clear, but i don't like mid-high frequencies. Ah, and most important thing is about the projection of the sound: the diezel is really tridimensional..the mesa a little less (each cab are rear loaded with v30).
If you have other question, ask woth no problems! ;)

The Einstein looks so nice on stage...here at a Concert last Friday!
