You got them half off plus they only require six strings, MORE SAVINGS!!!

I would guess Ensenada.

What gauges do you plan on running? I usually restring, ballpark the truss and let them settle in for a day or two before re-tweaking and setting intonation unless it's egregious off the bat. My LTD could probably use some fine tuning but I have some some rings, a pickup, and some pots on the way so they gotta come off again anyways.
I dunno yet, I'll have to play around with the tunings and what I feel works best before deciding what gauge. Probably just keep 9s on them for now as I figure out if I want to keep the pickups and/or possibly swap to gotoh 1996s or just an OFR for a drop in. I kind of want to put black hardware on the pink one with a black pickguard and electronics. I dunno, I "kind of want to do" all kinds of things. You know how it is.

Yeah I do. I bought the LTD and now have to customize it so it can function as my #1 or #2 player depending on how well it all works out. Pickups, maybe a pickguard, pots....sick of spending money now plus I blew my K-120. I think I've decided to rock a Lollar DB in the bridge and 490r in the neck. Educated guess I guess.

I posted it on the Crazy Deals Alert thread on or thereabout Black Friday. They came from Franklin Guitar Works on Reverb, marked as "used-mint" aka how they tend to sell all of their new guitars. Leaning toward MAP as the reasoning, if that makes sense. They always have good deals, I bought a bunch of Aerodyne MIJ Fenders and MIM Acoustasonics as gifts last Christmas and decided to keep two of the acoustasonics. Same deals sometimes with Proaudiostar and a few others who do that.
Dude I buy from them all the time, that’s exactly where I’ve been looking!

That actually sounds like a pretty good pairing of pickups. I don't really use the neck often, so it will likely end up as just a bridge humbucker with concentric pot and a kill switch if I do follow through with modding. 🤷‍♀️

They also have a pair of Olympic White US Pro II tele and strat with the nice flight cases for $1099 each. If I wasn't Christmas shopping right now, I would have them, too :ROFLMAO:. Proaudiostar has new US Jazzmasters right now (strat bridge model) for $875 if you're into that sort of thing.

I am now jelly of the Ninja turtle one now that I considered it. I am playing the Ninja Turtle bass
I was thinking orange HH pickguard and put the white humbuckers from the pink one in it :ROFLMAO:

Sounds like you are wanting to take a minimalist no frills approach.

Thanks for the input on the pups. I mostly live on the neck but need a good middle position sound between two 'buckers which means having separate tone controls. I've had a half dozen pickups in my LP copy testing stuff and the DB+57 classic was one of the better combos but they want ripoff prices for 57's. I had a 490r before and it was slightly warmer/darker which I think will pair up a little better with a DB, which is pretty aggressive. Then last night at the gig my guitarist suggested the 490 and he's probably got better ears and is more particular than me.

I do got a pretty nice purple super distortion I put a gold open face cover on that would probably look the coolest but the DB kills.....

Congrats!! Hell of a deal on those....

Charvel/Jacksons are my fav. Best feeling neck profile for me.

Outside of a couple of 80s basses, they're my first Charvels, but plenty of Jacksons. Have to get some real time and sit down with them. I appreciate the satin natural neck, tbh. Everything seems roasted or "aged" these days, so it's a nice change of pace from that and maple for me. Maybe they'll be around with me long enough to age on their own like the good old days... I've actually always wanted a variant of the tiger stripped Charvel (George Lynch?) pretty much forever, but they never come up in Lisa Frank colors :ROFLMAO:

This is what we put in the sky when we need to summon Charvel Dan

Is this like a Batman thing? If I saw that thing in the sky I would probably come running, too, if I'm being honest.

Throw a short A5 magnet into a 490R = T-Top.
