E2 Preamp?

Sweet, it´s very nice to know that the E2 will be coming along sooner or later. Can´t wait to add some modular mojo to my rig!

It's a preamp not a power amp so there should be no transformers.

M4 = a big Heyboer power transformer.
 
Not to bring up an old thread, but I haven't been on this board in over a year at least (started grad school and have nooo time) but I couldn't fall asleep tonight and came upon this. I'm really excited because last time I was on the boards was around when they where announcing it and I'm stoked that it's still going to happen! Hopefully now we'll see more awesome ideas coming out of the modular line.

I sympathize with being busier than you can imagine - it can be overwhelming at times - but if you're doing what you love, it's ultimately worth it.

If only I could find time to play guitar :doh:
 
On the other hand... It's getting closer to "later this year" and still no word... Hell we are still waiting for Armageddon and Vengeance...

broknstuff: I have been waiting for the E2 for over 2 1/2 years and when talk of the E2 rears its head I metaphorically stick my fingers in my ears and go "lalalalalalalalala". So the news on the E2 is (drum roll) there is no news! Just pretend that you never heard of it and if it ever sees the light of day, jump all over one like it's your girlfriend on prom night. :D

Early 2011 sounds good enough to me. They simply shouldn´t have announced it as early as they did, since it´ll always ruffle some feathers when stuff doesn´t show up as promised, but it´s probably a lesson learned for future releases.

Hey, by the way, did Bruce say anything about the E2 on the chat session they did?

Nope.

Early 2011 would be great, but after waiting for a while I'm not going to hold my breath waiting. When it is announced that it's out, then I'll get excited and place an order. :rock:
 
Bruce confirmed in the online chat that the "new" modular line will be compatible with the Michigan produced ones. I asked, he answered, pretty cool concept.
 
Well ... that would be quite silly if they didn't ... know what I mean?
