I can't agree with you at all.

I know his personality can grate on many but that doesn't make him wrong. Drop the emotion and listen to the words said, it clears the way..........always.

Not big enough OR...too big?

I actually went to a Catholic school and attended an ongoing Friday weekly mass.............no, nothing ever reported about that school or Church
I've been in touch with many of my past classmates and they all agree...........nothing whatsoever happened.

So, they're ALL NOT BAD...........a minority of course but in the main......NO.
 
Search on Catholic Church lavender mafia; they held control of the Church hierarchy in many places, ensuring there was secrecy and protection; protecting some of the worst offenders who are mostly interested in little boys; but some also like little girls.

We can paint them all with a broad brush be we shouldn't.........at all.

The Catholic church has helped millions, it's a cultural icon because it earned it. It's s a beacon to many who want AND need it.

I'm NOT a practising Catholic but I recognise and respect the great things it has done and does and it FAR OUTWEIGHS the bad.

If you feel different, go to a few Sunday masses and watch the congregation..............they're there for the right thing and it spreads.

Until I see mass (pun intended) outcry from the flock for major reforms and for removal
and prosecution of the offending clergy they are all complicit.
