Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you were one of the people that use a broad brush when it comes to LGBTQIA2S+.We can paint them all with a broad brush be we shouldn't.........at all.
I can see why you would say that and there's so much to respond with which clearly I won't here.been downhill since Vatican II IMO
And by FUCK......................I STAND BY IT ALL...........................................No, not kidding.Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you were one of the people that use a broad brush when it comes to LGBTQIA2S+.
before leaving the Church many years ago, I belonged to a FSSP parish where the tridentine mass and sacraments were done the old ways, using the missale romanum of 1962 (John XIII)...in Latin.I can see why you would say that and there's so much to respond with which clearly I won't here.
The New Testament was created for a changing world as the Old Testament was for an aged and different audience.
So, the church had to at least look at the changing world and the impacts on its faith that might occur.
Having said the above, the individual parishes and the discretion exercised by many of the priests in them determines what happens at ground level for local Catholics........as you're aware.
I can't change your mind but at least............consider the above.
Impressive, so you have a fave on how you want it done..................makes sense.before leaving the Church many years ago, I belonged to a FSSP parish where the tridentine mass and sacraments were done the old ways, using the missale romanum of 1962 (John XIII)...in Latin
Ohhhh, so moving the goalposts! I see...The New Testament was created for a changing world
No, not at all...........I'm appealing to you via your logic.Ohhhh, so moving the goalposts! I see...
I'll take the mass and sacraments of 1,000 years over V2. But the Church is hostile to it, given the evil that has infiltrated it. IMOImpressive, so you have a fave on how you want it done..................makes sense.
I used to go the Wed Vatican masses regularly......a spectacle obviously.
I'm not a fan of the many Pontiffs (especially the current criminal) but again..........the locals do what they do and mostly it's a noble thing.
I was referring religion moving the goalposts. No, not at all...........I'm appealing to you via your logic.
Mankind, even Catholics want the past buried so they can do and own their thing in their day................it's a human condition that has always been and will always be.I'll take the mass and sacraments of 1,000 years over V2. But the Church is hostile to it, given the evil that has infiltrated it. IMO
Still the same..........................I was referring religion moving the goalposts.
there is no place in today's Church for the Ecclesia Militans, this has allowed evil to enter. IMOMankind, even Catholics want the past buried so they can do and own their thing in their day................it's a human condition that has always been and will always be.
How do you feel about the Argentine?before leaving the Church many years ago, I belonged to a FSSP parish where the tridentine mass and sacraments were done the old ways, using the missale romanum of 1962 (John XIII)...in Latin.
edit: I'm not a sedavacantist, but I would not attend the Novus Ordo
IDK what that is?How do you feel about the Argentine?
You sure do know a lot about Catholicism to not know about the current pontiff.IDK what that is?
left the Church many years ago so haven't been keeping up with it
I left when JPII was pope, never looked back. the discussion reminded me of why I left. You sure do know a lot about Catholicism to not know about the current pontiff.
You’re extremely informed about the structure of the church and other worldly affairs. Not known what’s going on in Rome seems incongruent with that.I left when JPII was pope, never looked back. the discussion reminded me of why I left.
no need, I left. didn't focus on the Church, let the authorities deal with their crimes. You’re extremely informed about the structure of the church and other worldly affairs. Not known what’s going on in Rome seems incongruent with that.
