By a show of hands, how many times have you seen on a Facebook reel, Instagram reel, or YouTube short, a girl playing guitar or trying to prove they're actually playing (whether they're all that good or not) and just hundreds of random dudes being like "I knew you were really playing that" or "you are so talented", etc.

We all know that positive reinforcement is not what drives guitar players, it's being shit on by people we've never met that force us to get better to gain validation from people we'll never talk to.

It’s the times we live in. Look at that dorky chick that plays pantera solos, the charvel forum or whoever paid to have a sick custom shop made for her cause some other company wouldn’t build her one or some bullshit, and dudes here thought it was like the greatest thing, I thought it was disgusting. Onlyfans generated I think I saw almost 7 billion last year or something unfathomable

THIS! Her, and Sophie Lloyd really irk me. Granted, Sophie is gorgeous and CAN play, but we all know what she's doing. The Pantera girl gets on my nerves the most of the current crop. I'm with you, her whining online about Kramer not building her a guitar and then all the mouth breathers with too much time on their hands build her one. Chill dudes, she's not going to have sex with you or send you titty pics.

My late friend Ronni Crooks was better than all these YT bitches. Jazz-trained rock guitarist, w/ great looks.
She was doing it in the 70's to 2000, when female guitarists were rare. First Vigier female endorse.

Social Media has made most men really desperate and completely limp-wristed and these are the results.

I've never seen or heard a woman play that impressed me in some way.

I simp over @NowYou'rePlayingWithPower tbh
Mutual simping, though. Is there a term for that? :ROFLMAO:

I used to until I found out she's a girl. Now I turned my simpin' to stone cold pimpin because if it ain't makin' money it ain't making sense.
Same thing on my end. I used to think you were a butterfly. Now get back to work! :ROFLMAO:

All I see on Sopie’s videos looks like imitation, not playing. Maybe I am blind 😂

That Pantera girl…How can anyone even get hard? 😂

But yeah, we talked about this bullshit a lot here, it is really annoying. Simps and their objects are a disgrace to mankind.

There are some genuinely great guitar players who are women, a few of them I listen to and would still listen if they were dudes, and they make genuinely good music. Not a lot but they exist.

However, the whole thing where dudes fall over themselves for these thirst trap guitar girls I don't understand at all, not on the internet anyway. These girls are almost never top tier players or writers, nor are they top tier hot. Their passable playing doesn't make them hotter, and their hottness doesn't make the playing better.

This is the internet. Seeing the hottest women you can imagine (doing hotter stuff than guitar playing) takes the same number of clicks, and hearing the most inspiring guitar music you can imagine takes the same number of clicks. There's no reason to water down both by forcing them together.
