No worries man, just trying to help out. I'd feel like a dick if I told you to try that rocco circuit and I left you with an amp that won't work. If you need anymore help feel free to ask. :thumbsup:
 
Thanks man, I do appreciate it. I'm still REAL new at this, still haven't learn the "lingo" but I'm slowly getting there. eventually. The REAL test will be the Slo build.

Not sure yet, I didnt have a whole lot of time with it, I disconnected the PPIMV and put in the 220K resistors as well as the negative feedback wire.......nothing. the oscillating sound is gone, but no output yet. I'm gonna try to sit down with it in the morning and go back ove all the wiring and make sure everything is where it's supposed to be. I'm wondering if I got the Rocca right in there.
 
From what I can make out in the pics it looks like you have the proper connections in the preamp, I can't see everything though. I'm wondering about the input wiring, are you sure that the input wire going to the first preamp grid is connected to the tip lug on the jack? It looks almost like it might be hooked up to the ground lug in the pics, I'm not familiar with the weber supplied jacks though. Does it hiss more as you turn the amp up like it wants to get louder but it's just not getting the signal from your guitar?
 
Not that I remember, just a slight hiss. I'll check the connections on the input when I get home. hmmm...... :confused:
