Favorite speakers for metal??

ev12ls, those paired with mc90's and my all time favorite....ms12's. bought a mesa metal grille off charlie(marshallfreak?) years ago. cab fuckin ripped with my setup at that time. then sold it to juggernaught.

This thread is definitely up my alley right now. Always been a fan of v30’s but looking at new stuff.

I’ve had extensive experience with the following Celestion models: V30 (British and Chinese), RI Greenbacks, EVH Greenbacks, Lynchbacks, G12-65, GT75s, H75 Creambacks, and Redbacks. If I have to compare them to another Celestion model, they definitely remind me of a Greenback because they have a woody-ness to them. I think they might sound closest to the EVH Greenbacks. They’re very, very deep in the low end, but tight. Mids are flat, not scooped. Highs are smooth, a bit rolled off, but not dark. They sound killer with brighter amps. Just one can sound absolutely huge.
