Man, this thing is sick! I had to have it..

The fretwork rivals the MIJ Jackson I had. Not a tool mark, flaw, or oops to be found. SS frets are buttery smooth. It set up beautifully. Got the treble side just above 1mm at the 12th, bass side 1.25mm. Butter.. You can't beat this quality for $1300. Schecter does it right. (Need to upgrade to a better phone/camera)..

That's nice.
It cracks me up that people spend way more for a bolt on 80's throwback..

Looks nice! I’ve been really happy with the necks on the higher end import schecters lately.

Also, did the PRS SE not make the cut?

hot .. but is it 6 inline or 3 a side? can not stand strat shape body with 3 a side

My last two and possibly final two guitars have been recent Schecters from 2020 and 22.

They blow away most brands these days as far as bang for the buck on hardware/electronics/pickups, plus their general styles and necks/fretboards really gel with my preferences. I really like their 3/3 headstocks shapes on some superstrat models.

That axe is STUNNING. Im a sucker for red guitars, congrats.

It was a disaster. Garbage, I returned it immediately. QC was non-existent. Tool marks, gouges, glue, poorly cut nut, terrible..

Had a Reaper Elite bloodburst on order with SW but happened across one locally to try. I canceled my order right after playing it. Wasn't horrible, but wasn't anything special for me. QC was typical for an import and not the greatest fit/finish.

Oooof... that sucks.

RE the schecter --- I really wish they would do a bit of a darker finish on the back of the SLS Elite's, the light wood with the darker front half always looks weird to me.

:ROFLMAO:

I prefer it.. the dead zone string length is overall shorter, and the string pull is nearly straight so it stays in tune vs say an old school jackson. You can really hear them ping and resonate in a recording.. My Reaper is noticeably loud that way. Can't hear it in a mix but once you notice it, you can't not notice it..

Man, schecter have really upped their game in the last decade. That looks bad ass. Where was it built? Only thing that has stopped me from getting one is I’m a nerd and love my hockey stick head stocks.

World Music, South Korea.

Looks great, but I still think Schecter would sell much more if they focused a lil more on solid finishes. Not everyone is a fan of flashy finishes, especially in metal scene

How are you liking those Pickups??
I played Actives most of my guitar life, but I've moved away from them.
Schecter hasn't quite put out the ideal Axe for me tho.. I'd prefer a carved top body with 1V and 1T for Christ sake..
They have some Elites like that but they are Active equipped and I'd rather have a solid type color FTMP, but yours is really nice..
