My Gibson '67 RI V.
Did switch out all the electronics; pups are Super Distortion (b) and Breed Neck . Push pull vol. pots for coilsplits.
Especially the Breed Neck makes it almost sound as big 'n phat like a Les Paul.
Gotoh bridge and aluminium black tailpiece.

The Hamer Vector I sold after quitting a Judas Priest tribute band. That one I upgraded too; 70's Dual Sound (Super D) bridge and Air Norton neck, splittable, Tusq nut,.
Did have the V string through. (y)

How's that Bacchus? I've heard they're supposed to be really nice.
I’ve had probably 6 or 7 Japanese Bacchus’, and my buddy has 3, and they’ve all been top notch. As good as anything. I can’t speak for the Universe or Global line, but every Jap one I’ve played has killed.

These are cool man. What's the story on them?
Those are Doo guitars, handbuilt by a very close friend of mine named Dale Spiewak. He’s out of Orland Park, IL. He does great work, and he’ll build from scratch, anything your mind can conjure up. You actually pick out your own wood. It’s a very fun process. He’s building me #4 at the moment. He’s on Facebook @ Doo Custom Guitars.

I dig the esthetic, partially because they are somewhat similar to my own builds :D. Cool stuff!!

Ready for blast off....love this guitar. Loaded with an OG set of Wolfetone Dr. Vs.

Ive got white, black, and tortoise pickguards...switch it up or leave it black??? It’s a massive pain in the ass to swap one...

Pretty sure this is the 58' known as Amos that Joe Bonamassa owns..... original shop photo

What's up J.B.?! Long time no see. I still have that Vector I bought after you told me about them year ago haha.
What's up man!? Yeah, I'm still trying to get back in the gear game after I went through so much bullshit it would make your head spin, lol. Didn't you buy a Les Paul from me? Been a long time....

Velcro-Fly, is that Michael Schenker in the top pic of post #125? I've recently gotten into him and can't believe what I've been missing. Just never was exposed to UFO or earlier solo stuff until now. In terms of taste, feel and phrasing he's one of the best. Maybe the best.

Yes!!! I would have to agree with you on all points, sorry you missed him until now.

That said, I posted this a page or so back but its required viewing for any Schenker geek. Its the original Scorpions rhythm section playing w/ Schenker, rehearsing for a string of shows. He goes through a few gems up close, I was able to finally see the correct way to play a riff that's tweaked me for 30 years hahahaha. One of those "well gee, no shit, that's how you do it...." moments

Yep, I bought a Les Paul and a Cameron HG Jose from you. I wish I still had them lol. They were both killer. I had to sell the Les Paul to get some extra moving funds years ago and sold the Cameron in the tone chase game lol.
