Das ist die eine.

Please excuse the crappy playing...singing...jeans...out of tune guitar...etc

Also. There's no telling where I had the mids set...I mess with the eq all the time.
That's one thing I love about Diezels. The eqs work really well...and they also sound great no matter their position.

Danke Papa!

:doh:I'm also trying to figure out if I'm gonna make the Fokker my first Diezel horse in the barn. I've wavered back and forth from vh4 to Herbert and this just made it worse.

Judging from the rest of your amps...the Fokker would make a fine addition and I believe would fit the best.

Thanks for the advice, im not at all familiar with the "diezel" sound so its tough for me to pull the trigger on any, but i do think your rite that the fokker would be a good place to start, being a simplified version. Its tough cus i know how much studio use the VH4 has gotten in the past.

I'm sure you'd be thrilled with any Diezel. A vh4 would be my second recommendation for you. But...with the Cameron's and the modded Marshall's, the simpler, no midi, killer amp with classic Diezel drive tones and some of the best cleans I've EVER heard, is a great jumping off point.

made this vid 30 seconds after unboxing and connecting cables - I had the gain at noon and was boosting, then turned gain down as this things has a lot of gain for sure.

wanted to just catch a clip to see how it sounded

Damn Mat! That sounds excellent, thanks for the share brutha

How were you running that Lil Fokker? i.e. cab, eq, etc.

Fokker Cab was a 1960B with G12T-75s. 16ohm.
Herbert cab was a Carvin Vai Legacy with 2V30s and 2 G12T-75's. 4ohm.

Bass mid treble volume gain resonance presence all at 1 o'clock.
Master volume about 8 o'clock (fuckin quiet)

Ch 2 on Fokker. Ch 2+ on Herbert.

Both amps were set the same

The mid cut on the Herbert was on, but it wasn't obscenely scooped.

Nothing in either loop. No boosts. Just a Radial big shot ABY

All original 1979 Gibson LPC.
Silverburst. ;)

THE Best Yet!!!!! Are you pushing the front end with a flux drive? What pickups are you using? Thanks in advance for your answers and excellent clip.

Was using my Mesa Flux but since it was a rushed clip I had the level too high on the pedal and gain too high on the amp. at the end of the vid you'll notice I dial back the gain and turn the volume up a little as it was feeding back.

Guitar is a Suhr T (alder body - maple neck) with Bare Knuckle Aftermath - glad you liked it

I'll try to make another vid with some different settings to capture lows better

Sweet bro !!! -but your making the choice harder now!

played the amp last night for a good bit - no idea how many mixed reviews there could be, cause the clean channel is great and can go clean or plexi gain. boosting the clean channel us super fun and just has a great feel. the gain channel is loads of fun and is capable of a wide variety of sounds from various eras (70,80,90)

make no mistake - still has that Diezel clarity and can have huge crushing low end or a ton of high end cut.
