Worth noting that Larry builds his amps himself. Don't think it's a factory operation, so you won't get six of them at the same time or anything.
I looked at that Larry Dino video that was posted and it was bad. Did you look at the guy's settings? Bass was set to maximum, mid and treb are at 2 o'clock.
These are from 12 years ago. Not too shabby. I'm sure in the hands of a more experienced *cough cough* youtuber, it would probably sound as good as anything those guys usually demo from Hotone or whatever it is.

I still haven't found a lot of complaints about Larry to be honest. Most seem to be on this thread, so I think despite the allegations of dishonesty, he seems to build them as fast as he can and people are willing to wait.

that 2nd clip actually suffers from what a lot of smaller EL84 amps exhibit and you can read some guy in the comments complained about this too; the neck EMG pickup in use might be the culprit.nightlight":3c666i8p said:

Mesa Mini Rectifier, same thing. Actually, my DC-5 does it to some extent too. The first EL84 lunchbox amp I encountered that didn't suffer from this, was the Engl Ironball. Later I read that Engl uses some hefty pre-gain hi-pass filtering (/90Hz) that most likely helps with getting rid of any mud.
