I was thinking of Mike himself, he used to post at RT all the time a few years ago and was very friendly. engage757 might be his social media guy, which evidently backfired in this thread for you.

So basically when Zachy is not being a web-cam boy doing strange thangs for spare change for old men on the web... he reps Fortin Amplicfication... which is a "worldwide" brand according to him.

This is a very long thread based on hate and pettiness. That said, I would love to try a Fortin amp. If they ever come out with the demanufacture, I will buy it. I don't understand hating Mike, himself, though. I haven't had the best time with his staff's answering of questions. They answered short and a bit snippy and deprecating. Also. I bought the zuul when it first came out. Everyone was taking pictures of their fortin pedals with like snakes or with expensive cars. It was quite douchey, but to each his own. I took a picture as well and posted it. Unfortunately, mine was immediately taken down. I think fortin makes good products. I have several of his pedals, and a buddy of mine has an amp modded by him when he was still working out of his garage. But I think the social media front should take themselves a bit less seriously and remember that a lot of us are trying to be fortin fans and don't need to be pushed away by their nonsensical antics

C’mon now, no one believes you for a second that you were going to buy a Fortin Amp. You stated that countless times. Trolling?

Anyway, supply chains are messed up. Electronic parts coming from China, as most do, are being help up. A lot of amp builders are struggling to get amps made.

Larry claims he doesn’t have that problem, but still amps aren’t being made...

I see no indication of an immediate shortage of the passive parts used in a guitar amp. Mouser, Digi-Key, Farnell, Newark, Arrow, Distrelec, and etc. all have everything you could ever need. No idea what parts Fortin plans on using in the Evil Pumpkin, but I can tell you the parts used in the Meshuggah, Cali, and the Super-Hi (built in the UK) all use readily available parts (except for the NOS caps in the Meshuggah). Nothing needs to be ordered direct from China.
