I have seen you make 1 interesting post in like 1 month that you were able to hold back your bias and make a valid point. The point of a discussion isn't to win, it's to get people on the same page. Usually, all parties have to cave a bit. When one side blatantly ignores what the other is saying and insults them instead of having a dialog, it is doomed from the start.
 
I've tried the discussion route.
Doesn't work.
Logic and reason work just as well.
