Base circuit of course would be different - but curious if the same as the Plex

All his amps are PCB, he sells enough of them that he basically has to use PCBs.

I've read there's a PhilX 20 coming out, that will be the most versatile 20 watt yet. Dunno if it's true oo if that's the one.

This video really solidifies for me that I wanna try and eliminate the habit of bending up the six. I started noticing it many years ago with guys being a little bit more fusiony/jazzy in their blues playing, and it worked its way into my playing, but there’s something about it I just find really obvious and boring now. I think I actually hate it.

Although ridiculously expensive, I do think this amp gives you a lot of options.. It's like getting a standard 1959 and then with all the options to mix and match. Probably a better deal than the Plex because it does that thing and more. Would have been cool to throw the variac switch on this one too but maybe that's being greedy. I will wait until he does the Jose Synergy preamp ( though the Fortin seems to get in to that territory enough for the time being)
