Who makes the VHT amps/not fryette that are available now?

AXL I think (or at least it was AXL for a while).

I actually had one of the "new" VHT's for a lil while, the Classic 18 combo. It was a decent amp tbh

That's funny - I'm one of them, Devin's one of them and I know Billy from guitargearforum is one. So right there, and I'm hardly on these forums anymore, I know 33.3333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333% of the people that got them.

Regardless, hopefully the mere existence of the option was able to close people's mouths so Steve could move on to other unimportant things people were complaining about.
I also bought the loop, and installed it.

I have had 3 experiences with VHT/Fryette.
First time I played a VHT was at Frankfurt Messe, forgot which year. It was an Pitbull UL with the graphic eq on it ,played through a VHT 4X12 cab. Guitar was a Tommy's Special Guitar, from a German luthier
I was so blown away at the time by that amp that when I saw a second hand Sig X for a good price a couple of years later I immediately bought it. Well, that was a whole different amp. Bottom line, didn't do anything for me that amp. Kept it for a few years and the guy who bought it from me thought it was the best amp ever...
Later on I checked out another Pitbull (CL) and again I didn't like it.
Maybe it has to do with what kind of cab is used, I don't know but the only time I liked a VHT was with a VHT cab, the other times were with Marshall cabs...

A new Sig and UL..
They should put the Deliverance 120 Power Section in the Sig and keep the 40 watt function..

I'm down to 2 tube amps in my life. But a 2150 or other mean Fryette is on my radar.

Did anyone really believe him when he said it’ll be out this year! Lol
He has been saying both amps will be done a few years. It did sound like he has the concept getting close. But with the delays of building anything since Covid and the general history of how fast any of these builders get things done.

He did mention he has about 15 new projects in the works last night.

Fryette® POWER LOADIR

Variable Reactive Load Box is ready and and ships in February 2022.

VALVULATOR® GP/DI DIRECT RECORDING AMPLIFIER new version is coming.

UL II and Sig X II are next on the list to come out.

Ok... since i have watched the Malcontent episode... he did mentioned about the D120 mk2 possessed the grail of hiwatt dna which he puts on his Soundcity creation...

Does anybody actually know if the UL or CLX also has the hiwatty power section?

Are they working on it? the new UL? will be stoked.... but lesser gain? ouch... Everybody knows Fryette brigs out the metal ! but lesser gain?! are we looking at useable gain like what we have on the current 3 channel UL? or a notch lesser?
