You know you just set off about 5000 alerts to the Splawn Police. :D

Splawn Policeman: "Take him behind the building and beat him to death with a Heyboer Transformer immediately."

So... Whatever happened to SteveVHT? Does he post anywhere nowadays?

I think Kage and Ralph talks to him from time to time, I think I remember reading that. But I haven`t seen any posts from him either here or @ HCAF.

Something's weird about that... You see people cut back their online time alot, but I've never seen someone that was very active just quit altogether one day. Weird.

Where did SteveVHT go?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone know? I sent him a couple PM's regarding the GP3 mod, but it seems he's disappeared, both here and over at the HC forums.

That was from the VHT forum back in April 2008

Have had a JVM for about 3 weeks now, been real happy with it. Have actually been wondering why there wasent more talk about it on here.

Like all hot amps things cool off. Kinda like the SigX and so many others. I own 2 JVMS. Actually the last amp I had gas for was the SigX, tried it and sold it and bought a backup JVM. I'm back to all Marshall for the first time in over a decade and it's been so long since I've had amp gas it actually feels good.

My Lead Guitarist is playing the Jvm 410 Head through an Marshall 1960 ADM....That is an awesome tone....
I wanted to say that you cant get an better head for that money. It has all you need and more
But my VH4 kills him everytime :D
His master Volume is on 5 maybe 5,5 and mine is on 3,5 and my sound is louder than his
But great amp

That's an apples to oranges comparison. Now a Marshall tube amp? I'd take a good Marshall Plexi over the VH4 any day. :)

I'm sure the JVM is a cool amp, and I'd really like to try one someday, but man the hype for this thing was absurd. Read Steve's first post. He's basically saying it's the best amp ever made for every style of music ever. :hys:

Ive seen plenty of other amps hyped as much as the JVM IMHO. Personally, I think that its a great amp that can handle a variety of styles but like everything else thats ever come out, YMMV...

Kage

I really do like the sound of a JVM....You really can get every sound you need... clean(best clean sound that marshall ever made in their amps imo) to ultra lead/brutal riffage......it also great to have four channels with 3 different soundmodes....it is a great amp
end of story

I really regret selling mine!

4 awesome channels, each with 3 settings, and MIDI? For that price?
You just can't go wrong.

Exactly...that is why i say you cannot go wrong with this amp...a lot of features but a small price

I still have mine   Great amp, I dont care what you corksniffers say

Small price? For the $2000 price tag there's plenty of amps that blow the JVM away. Once i compared the JVM to a Mesa Mark IV the JVM got booted to the curb.
