Everybody on here is a troll. Haven’t you noticed?
Some, most are Legit. I take that back on trolling on him though- why would you troll then run away and bury your head in the sand by using Ignore? Nope, makes no sense. I'll stand by Mental Health issue IMO. No beef with you unless you are one of his Alts. Take care.

Hey, what ever happened to that advice on how to survive the coming apocalypse ?

:ROFLMAO:
It’s definitely harvesting chemical laden rain water in giant plastic underground tanks.

No one buries above-ground tanks, you fucking idiot.

:ROFLMAO:
No one I have ever heard of keeps that many 1,000s of gallons of domestic water in black plastic tanks above ground.

It makes sense to bury 'em.

Minimising temperature fluctuations discourages pathogenic growth. When it swings heaps from one extreme to the other, bacterial, viral and fungal blooms come and go, dying in-between "stints", producing organic waste which quickly breaks down into ammonia and nitrites.

You can ameliorate the situation by installing an air pump and filter, which will encourage nitrifying bacteria to break the compounds down into less-harmful nitrates, but they'll slowly build up over time and you don't want that long-term.

Sorry. Been keeping fish for 53 years so this sort of stuff's second-nature to me.

@Monkey Man …why not treat this thread the same as you do the bikini thread? These dill-holes want to come in here a post off topic nonsense and take away from the forumites that want to enjoy the topic at hand. Their posts here should be treated the same as off topic posts in the bikini thread. No different.
No mate; it's completely-different.

Thread title, "Full Disclosure about Dem Nuts".
Bikini-thread title, "Bikini Thread - OT Posts & Pics Removed".

I'm no genius, but they're practically polar-opposites. One title is open-ended and the other clearly-defined / restricted.

No.

These tanks are made from high density crosslinked polyethylene, and are UV stabilized and have NSF61 certification.

So they don't exhibit greater temperature fluctuations than they would if they were buried?

Probably not a fair question. Logic dictates that it's always going to be greater above-ground, but to be fair, they sound impressive mate!
