This wasn't unprecedented either:
I've seen this happen, for example in the case of David Gerlach.
He reappeared many times, as Giga.Blast, Chupa.Cabra, Top.Echelon, BlackSabbath and King.Crimson for example.

As I explained to you, sometimes peeps reappear and we've simply kept a close eye on them, bearing their history here in-mind, which ultimately means holding a shorter leash.

IOW, as I've also suggested, it's not entirely-fair to get hung-up on the "perma-ban" definition. For some peeps, yeah, it's permanent 'cause what they did was simply beyond-the-pale / in another league / outright-illegal.

Lastly, I myself have been banned from a forum that I loved and put my heart and soul into so I know how it feels. I couldn't for the life of me understand why I apparently deserved it, but thanks to the community's stepping up and publicly calling for my unbanning, the mods in that case did something they'd never done before - unban me.

Guess what I'm saying is that I come at this with a legit perspective and not some feel-good kumbayah, unicorns-and-rainbows, rose-coloured-glasses delusion that exists only in my mind.

Hope this helps give some perspective brother. I don't like to be misunderstood but if you still find yourself steadfast in your position, that's absolutely-cool with me man; we'll be back to our "agree to disagree" position.
