Not even REMOTELY like the premium on the modern Vs, and you know it lol

As a reminder they were originally 3-5k

AND THIS WAS ONLY 7 YEARS AGO
Shoot even used faded V's command a good bit of dough. Those used to be everywhere for 350-500 bucks. I had an ebony board model with the single crescent inlay I bought at a LGS in St. Pete for $350. Last I checked those were 1600-1900 online now. Nuts. I had a 333 that I paid 1100 for now guys are trying to get 335 prices for them. They go from "couldn't bond with it" to "these were/are special". So much BS. They were just a decent, affordable way to get into Gibson.

I did NOT think it would be that difficult to choose two categories but it was. Very excited to see these builds come together!

I paid $800 for my Thunderhorse and I think about the same for my Buckethead LP I think both peaked around $8-10k.
A lot of the others have about tripled during the covid boom and have stayed there or are still rising for whatever reason.
People are going to people.

Offsets are like a Jaguar, Jazzmaster, Firebird, RD, Iceman. Pretty much a guitar that looks like it melted on someone's dashboard in the sun.
Oh, now I remember. Just got out of free-for-all fight, so brain is in battle mode still, so civilian matters got brakes engaged haha

Thanks!

Damn that border policy must be working really well (sorry lmao)

Well, so far 11 people want in but only 5 have entered legally 🤷‍♀️
Tbh, I want people to actually be involved and test their reading comprehension so they don't mistake balsa wood for korina.

A superstrat or an explorer for me out of these. Seems like Soloist/Dinky style fell off.

I specifically chose builds that were something that I do not currently own. Hell, seems like half the people on here could afford to build whatever custom guitar they wanted! Maybe I will be there one day but that day is definitely not today. Surprised this isn't swarmed - I'm sure it will be by tomorrow.

So that everyone has an option and gets closer to what they want; I am going to do numerous builds.
The catch is that you can only select two builds that you want your vote to count in towards the design.
You will also only be able to have a chance to win one of those two builds you selected.
Hopefully this remedies any issues on where each build ends up and gives everyone a chance to end up with something they would like.
The current super strat build is on course and will stay open to all.
I will be conducting the giveaways at my pace, not all at once, so please be patient waiting for your build to come up.

The point of these builds is to show appreciation for Rig-Talk and it's members who have contributed to music and helping others.
In my view a member is someone who participates on the main forum and doesn't mostly troll, post only in OTC or the Classifieds sections, didn't only sign up for this.
I do not care about your political views, left, right, in between or living in fantasy world; you're welcome to join.
Alts are not allowed and anyone doing so will have all accounts disqualified from voting or winning.
This is open to members of any country in North America and Europe, as well as Japan and Australia.
If you win YOU are solely responsible for any taxes, import fees, or duties that may or may not occur.

To sign up; select two guitars from the poll that you would like to be a part of.
The window on entering closes in two weeks.
Your choices will be locked, so make sure that you select the guitars you would like to be a part of or want to have a chance to win.
You must also emoji this post and comment on this thread to qualify so that I know that you've read and understand.

Thanks Y'all!
❤️❤️❤️

Do i even qualify? I would have trouble arguing that i troll less or more than not.

You've posted clips and threads on gear.
Given the rarity of clip postings around these parts; would say that 1 clip post > 100 troll posts. :ROFLMAO:
The rest of the qualifications rely mostly on reading the OP and following the instructions.
Because balsa wood.

You have opened my eyes to bc rich also. Some of the body styles i never even considered I now covet, especially when i see them in a single hum/volume

100%

I originally thought BCR was retarded, and over time I thought they were more and more kickass looking (as long as they don't have tribal graphics)

I selected:

Explorer, Star, or Extra Pointy
and
San Dimas or So Cal

Lisa, this is way cool of you to do this!

Figured this would be a better way than having a free for all on trying to build a guitar :ROFLMAO: I feel like it will help us from ending up with a maple body/mahogany top guitar too and give members both a higher chance of winning and winning something they will actually enjoy, if that makes sense.

I think in addition, you may need to just build a bigsby for @VonBonfire

That way, next time I go see him play, I can try the fucker out; see what all the fuss is about.
