I think in addition, you may need to just build a bigsby for @VonBonfire

That way, next time I go see him play, I can try the fucker out; see what all the fuss is about.

I'm guessing that by the time this is over I will already have somewhere around $15k give or take into these giveaways, so that may not be in the cards.
Though, I will still be doing other giveaways over time outside of these, which may include one of my lesser used hollow/semi-hollows if there's enough interest. For now, gonna try and stick to Rig-Talk related vs TGP. Kinda boggled the modern build is getting traction over some of the others, but that one is my personal choice. I almost added a bass...

Don't wanna come off like a bitch down the road, so please read every sentence in the OP and follow the rules exactly. So far, less than half of entries have currently qualified for entry. This isn't a hit it and quit it or pick a number between 1 and 10 (hint: there are only eight numbers between 1 and 10, and only two numbers if choosing between 1 and 10, for example) It requires participation to show me you're serious. Not just going to ship people a $2k-3k guitar they have no real interest in. This is my final warning. Just saying, I stick to the rules so that there are no problems or infighting later.

100%

I originally thought BCR was retarded, and over time I thought they were more and more kickass looking (as long as they don't have tribal graphics)
Are you a bad enough dude to play a BC Rich Acrylic clear

Ah well, maybe next time!!!

Entry hasn't closed yet.
Any of y'all have until February 23 to rectify (like kill alts or hit that emoji button, which doesn't have to be anyone in particular)...

i don't really get the san dimas thing. it is just a fender strat really. But that's cool. Honestly, I love my V. I think an Explorer is the next one I am most interested in. Never have even tried one. So many companies make cool ones too.

They are so damn heavy, I just looked and they are going for like $1200 now. I remember when they were getting blown out at $229....should have got one just for the strange factor

There's ones out there (especially the mocks) that only weigh 11 pounds - some of the warlocks are up in the 15-16 range though, which becomes basically impossible to play standing up

Yeah, though there are a lot of little differences between the production models to make them different enough, I tend to think of the San Dimas as more of a hotrodded strat or something along those lines rather than a super strat. That's probably just due to my age. Likely wasn't around when the term was coined.

Don't ask me, I've never really used it.

But it makes for low perceived tension if you are doing a lot of bends. It feels slinkier to me than if I raise a stop tailpiece way up so I like it. Plus it is big chunk of gold hardware so it's a neck dive preventative.

i must’ve missed the frozen trout body option. Surely you haven’t forgotten so soon..

I specifically chose builds that were something that I do not currently own. Hell, seems like half the people on here could afford to build whatever custom guitar they wanted! Maybe I will be there one day but that day is definitely not today. Surprised this isn't swarmed - I'm sure it will be by tomorrow.
Atm I am fighting to afford food and rent, so you’re not alone lol

I was so confused why everyone hated the Gibson "modern" roswell. I thought it was beautiful, but apparently I was literally the only person

I've always thought it has a really cool looking aesthetic, so there's at least one more person who likes the Roswell V. Even though it's a "modern" design it gives off 50's/60's retro vibes. It sort of reminds me of the rear fenders of a '57 Chevy. It also makes me think of Star-Trek.
