Funny.
My great aunt was a Schlitz drinker, every day.
Every Friday night was steak night at the Limerick Inn, gramps loved going.
As a kid, Id bring steak bones down to her cottage for her dog, Id get cookies in return.
Plus grab one from the fridge for her a peel the tab off.
She was wheel chair bound at that point.
Her cottage was about seven down from ours on Guffins Bay.
Everyone knew me, as Id swim all down the shore.
Today, everything has been tore down and built bigger.
No green space anymore.
You walk in front of someone's cottage today, theyll call police for trespassing.

I hear ya man. I went door to door with my daughter over the weekend to sell girls scout cookies and it felt so weird to be slightly trepidatious just knocking on neighbor’s doors.
When I was 10 I knew everyone within a few blocks of me. Now I’m 40 and I only know a handful of neighbors, most of which are ones that I knew from a when I was younger

I concede that the country was probably better off overall as a Christian normative nation, but I don't think that's required for a cohesive society.Devil worshippers are everywhere.
