Bought a Jackson Soloist MJ at a great price. Pics were decent, not the greatest, but it certainly looked clean. I asked several questions, and seller vehemently said it was "Perfect, like new". I receive this.... And, no, that big headstock chip didn't happen in transit. It was conveniently not pictured, nor was it disclosed. Under the inch of dust/dirt, are several fine scratches you can't see.. I hate lazy fucks that can't grab a rag and some polish - it scream "I don't give a fuck". And, no, I'm not upset over some filth, it's the scratches under it. Requested return, so far he's blown me off. Fuck Reverb, and the seller, I'm going straight to PayPal. Reverb just jerks you around with "help links to FAQ's".

Yikes that sucks. I hope PP returns your cash.

Dudes a scum bag. So tired of hearing of these losers. You must return it as it’s not, “as described.” Return that and make that dude return your cash and get reverb involved. Sorry this happened.

Mind boggling that people send out guitars like this without cleaning it up . Looks like he sneezed all over it and shipped it out .

Oh no, I went straight to PayPal with a claim. Reverb will trip over themselves getting it resolved quicker. I want that fucker eating return shipping too.

Sucks, because the neck and fretwork is absolutely flawless. Japs sure do nice work on these!

Reverb refunded my money, and never sent a return label.. WTF?

When you went through the refund process, did you answer "yes" or "no" to the question about "Would you like to return the item to the seller?". I'm getting ready to request a refund for a pedal that I got damaged. I don't mind to ship it back, but I'm not paying for it.

Keep the guitar then.
Contact the seller and fervently inform him:
“Dude, you ain’t so bad after all,
Cheers!,
Napaldeth,etc

-And keep the money & the guitar and don’t worry
about the seller or reverb reading this very message!-

I feel you, man. That’s some BS

Here I am, I detail my guitar after each use before it goes back in its case.

I’m at the point where I hesitate to deal anywhere online except this forum - which of course limits you to whatever anyone has available at any time. But still…

Seller deserved it. I would wait to hear from him. You sure it wasn't Paypal that refunded you through Reverb?
It was Reverb. Seller did respond, he authorized the return. I think he was to create the return label.

I let Reverb know, there's no mention of returning it.

Or paying full price for new from respected retailers. I would easily buy one of these new if I didn't think they were so overpriced. They're nicely built, for sure!

I'm lucky I've only used Reverb twice and dealt with 2 AMAZING sellers.

Very expensive amps shipped internationally too.

I don't think I'd want to roll the dice and try for a third time though.

I don't use reverb anymore except to by from stores. I don't even log in anymore.
