Damn guys, I think Jeff has a winner here :thumbsup: Just got my modded SL2 back and it really kicks ass man! :rock: Eric was right about channel A too.......can do the Hendrix/SRV thing pretty darn good with the gain rolled back. And the bright switch REALLY makes a difference......gives that upper range bite big time, roll back the treble knob, but it's got a bit of a different character.......way cool.

It's a keeper!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :rock:
 
Glad you dig it Kevin! I guess a blind squirrel can find a nut sometimes...I mean me dicking around with modules!

It arrived yesterday. I was in NYC until like 8 and I was pretty hammered last night. Im going to crank this bad boy today for sure!!!

Jammed on it w/ my new Warmoth I built (selling my Heritage LP to a friend) w/ Rebel Yells, G12T75s / CL80s, 6550s in the Mod50, and just plain killed. Love that friggin module!

This mod sounds exactly how I remember it when Eric was here with his: PURE AWESOMENESS.

It really has the Marshall snarl and bite. Definitely more aggressive and less smooth than SL2 which is exactly what I wanted. It sounds more Marshally than SL2. So far Ive been playing it with my Strat and Im getting awesome Ritchie Kotzen type tone. DIG IT.

Man, when you think the Eggie tone can't get any better, Jeff kicks it up with this damn mod.............it rocks hard man, yet can still get those sweet lower gain tones too...... :rock:

2 :thumbsup: :thumbsup: to eric for the idea man,this module rocks,Ive been hammering it all day and it loves High output as it does low output pickups,it gets dirty nasty!!! :rock:
 
The clarity and definition is absolutely amazing. I think this module has even more clarity than EG5. Just awesome. Im running gain absolutely cranked on channel A. Its a good amount of gain and still not very compressed. Ive only had this thing in my RM20 in my living room so far since Im lazy and my rig is still packed up from Friday night's gig. I figured Id check it out quick in the RM20 and then set up my full rig... well, 2+ hours later and I was still playing through the RM20. freaking awesome module. May be my new standard high gain tone.
