I guess I should just keep my mouth shut... It does bug me though that I used to love coming here and now I no longer feel like coming at all, mainly because you have to sift through thread after thread of BS - the same thing that happened on HC.

Can't you guys keep your flame wars to the off-topic lounge or can the moderators start moving them over when things go off topic? That's a lot of work they shouldn't have to do though...

There is a lot of immaturity from folks of all ages; I say try to ignore...I really like this forum. I love to read the posts and see what others are into. Music is a subjective thing and one of the great things in life is to expose yourself to other points of view.

met many other members in person are tight knit.

I'm all for moving the B.S. threads to the off topic area, but don't want to step on Chris's toes. We WILL come up with something Randy. Some OT threads are cool...friends asking friends good questions, you tube finds...but it can turn into a jungle of OT threads like HC if not kept in check and the people that hang here because of the gear talk will leave...it's heading there.

Guitars / music is not a competition, but for whatever reason you get sucked into total flame fests at the drop of a hat. Take the high road once in a while. You don't behave at TGP like you do here (because it's not permitted), and look at the response people have to your clips and playing - they love it, they appreciate it and respect it. You would be written off if you posted a single line of the "Standard Rig Talk Carl Flame Response" over there. Why not just use the same approach? again - take the high road, everybody will be better for it.
